Bring your pampered pets, dressed in their very best, to Historic Cocoa Village for a Howl-O-Ween Petacular. The event, free to attend, will be hosted by Tails at the Barkery, and will cater to the pets and the ones who love them on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Dirty Oar Beer Company in Historic Cocoa Village.

You and your pet can help make the 8th Annual Howl-O-Ween Petacular a “pawpular” success! Get dressed up, catch up with old friends and meet new ones, and help raise money for Mid Florida Sheltie Rescue. a nonprofit organization founded in 2004, whose mission is to help with the rehabilitation, fostering, and placement of homeless Shetland Sheepdogs.

Pets dressed in their favorite “Howl-O-Ween” costumes can enter the “howlingly” fun pet costume contests which begin at 4:30 p.m. Each contest entry fee is a $10 donation per pet in advance and $15 at the event. Last chance to register for Costume Contests is 4:00 p.m.

Costumed Pet Contests:
Best Decorated Wagon or Stroller
Best Dressed Owner/Pet Combo
Best Costume – Large Pet
Best Costume – Small Pet

1st Place Winners will be awarded a Cash Prize along with a “fang-tastic” Prize Gift Basket.
2nd Place Winners will be awarded a “fa-boo-lous” Prize Gift Basket.

For purchase, there will be delicious food from 56@, beverages, and Artist Lori Prell will be on hand for caricature drawings. Join us for an afternoon of fun, including raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing and games of Bingo.

All pets must be on a leash, or in appropriate carriers, and have current vaccinations and county tags for the safety of our animals and friends.
