There are 5 new kittens in the front garden. Salah found 4 yesterday in a tree opposite. I just found another, the piebald one. The tabby is brave enough to pop his head out but the others not.

Another lost soul. It took me half an hour of coaxing before he would let me pick him up. When he did, he clung to me trembling. He's safe in my garden now.

My lovely Sherry. She had been beaten by a human when I took her in. She was nearly dead and miscarried 8 babies. I couldn't touch her for nearly a year, but now she even sleeps with me on my bed.

Blackie hadn't got any fractures. Somehow the ball of his left leg has been ripped from its socket at the thigh level. Nothing can be done except a replacement for 5500 euros which is out of the question. There was no accident as there were no internal injuries. Either a human did this deliberately or he was trapped somehow somewhere and ripped his leg away, causing the injury.
We are trying to save a lady's much-loved cat today. Not much hope, but we had to try.
