We unfortunately have some sad news. Mourning the death of a loved one is difficult, especially when it is so unexpected.

This week, We unfortunately lost our cat "Minjee Lee."

I apologise for any delays in response and endeavour to get back to you all asap.

May our sweetheart cross rainbow bridge with ease, and rest in peace. Forever in our hearts, and never forgotten. We love you gorgeous girl ❤️

Dashing Daisy, a 12 year old Golden Retriever had a full groom out, removing all that dead hair making it easier for her to regulate her body temperature, especially as she gets older and might find it hard anyway!! ☺️🐕

Cute little Charlie had her first ever professional groom with me this week! 💇‍♀️ Being three years old already, you can imagine it was a bit daunting for worried little Charlie.

🐶 After getting mum to pick her up and place her in my arms, she was not impressed in the slightest and did snap at my face. That's okay, she was nervous and had never met me before!

Typically I let dogs sniff around the garden and settle in before I begin their groom. In this case I chose to put Charlie straight on the table. We chatted for a bit and I gave Charlie loads of pets, she wouldn't take treats and I totally understood. But Charlie was warming up and enjoying the love. I did a pre-clip on Charlie and then we explored the garden and went to the loo before going in the bath!

I got through Charlie's entire groom with only a little snapping while I did her face, and even then she calmed down.

Slow and steady definitely wins the race!! Breaking down the groom with regular breaks and doing only a few nails at time makes a world of difference to the animals grooming experience! It may not be the most efficient and definitely takes longer, however, it's so much better for the animals. They desensitise over time, begin to trust you more, until eventually we can be more efficient as the process is no longer stressful for the animal! 🐕🐈🐇

Happy Little Pom, another little senior Maltese x 🥰

Pom come to visit me for a full spa treatment and hair cut, he didn't appreciate his face being done and initially tried to bite me. But after some reassuring he let me complete him. It is truly incredible how far some TLC goes! 🥰🐶

Sweet little Asher, a senior Maltese. 💇‍♀️

Asher required regular rest breaks during her spa session, besides being a bit wobbly, she handled it like a senior champion 🏆

The most rewarding part was watching Asher run around in the garden like a puppy after she was finished 🥰

⭐️ STAR OF THE WEEK!!! ⭐️

🐶 Wilson the Bulldog needs regular bathing with a spacial skin treatment that requires a total of a 15 minute soak! ⏰️
Wilson used to despise standing in the bath, requiring constant pats and attention and even still... would sulk and carry on.

💥 This champion now sits down and chills out for his soak!! HOORAY!! 🙌

🐾 Winnie, the 6 month old Cocker Spanial and Cruiser the Border Collie came to visit me this week!

It was Winnie's first ever professional groom, she started off quite scared and timid and I don't blame her, after some TLC and taking it very slow Winnie walked out full of confidence and looking gorgeous!

Cruiser was stoked that we played ball when he arrived 🎾, he was then disappointed with a bath 🛁. However he behaved like a champion and thoroughly enjoyed the drying experience, which was lucky because he had such a thick coat!! 🐕

How often should you get your Cocker Spanial and Broder Collie professionally groomed you ask? 🗓

🐶 Cocker spaniels should be professionally groomed every 6 - 8 weeks, this can be stretched out to 10 weeks if you're brushing your Cocker regularly in-between!

🐶 A Border Collie should be groomed a minimum of every 12 weeks, that's only 4 times a year! Each new season, a new coat comes through, and the old coat needs to be removed/ brushed out. Removing. The dead coat prevents over heating, skin conditions, matting and all round being uncomfortable!

Charming Crystal, a 3 year old purebred ShihZtu has regular grooming with me, and her mum keeps up the brushing in-between, enabling her to be stylish and gorgeous 😍

What's involved in a full clip? ✂️

All my dogs are treated with love, care and compassion through out the entire grooming experience and positively reinforced.
They get they're ears 👂checked and cleaned, their teeth 🪥brushed, a**l glands expressed 💩 if needed, all hygiene areas tidied, bubble bathed 🛁 and conditioned, blow dried using happy hoddie's so it's not so scary! Full body clip, face, feet and tail tidied and nails trimmed! 💅

Having their first ever introductory grooming session before going to their new homes!
Grooming can be a daunting experience for any puppy or dog, so it's important to introduce your puppy to a grooming salon as soon as you can!
