We had a blast at Dog Day in the Garden 2023 ! We met Miss Prissy who won the "Queen of the Garden" award and our Gilligan won "Grey Muzzle of the Garden"! We enjoyed meeting new friends and loved watching all the pups running through the obstacle course.

Today is National Chocolate Covered Raisin Day! This yummy treat for humans is not fur family friendly. Both chocolate and raisins are toxic for dogs and cats! Even one can potentially cause acute kidney failure and GI issues. If ever ingested contact us for next steps on how to help your fur baby!

Let’s talk about heartworm disease!!! This a very preventable disease that causes mortality(death) and morbidity(illness) in cats and dogs. Giving your pet heartworm prevention is the only way to prevent this disease, even if your dog “spends most of his/her time inside” THEY ARE AT RISK!!! Heartworm prevention comes in many forms such as injectable, oral, and topical. Choose which is best for your pet and your family, but please make sure you are giving the this medication to your pet. This medication is prescription only, please reach out to us or your regular veterinarian about heartworm prevention.
