The PAWFECT gift for yourself, a dog mom, and or a dog dad. This private session is with me, Victoria. A certified dog trainer, dog mom, and professional photographer! The session comes with guaranteed high quality photos of your pup, which will all available for digital download. This pricing is for one dog per session. Additional dogs can be added on! The location, time, and date of the photoshoot will be discussed within 24 hours after booking. “The Bully” is a half hour session. “The Hound” is an hour session for those dogs that need a little extra time during a visit for a photoshoot!

I am so excited about this Easter
Photoshoot at Bentley's Pet Stuff on the 15th & 23rd! I decided to splurge on a different backdrop allowing me to take amazing photographs in a new smoother style... 💜 There’s also a quite a few benefits of this new backdrop but, one of my favorites is without the carpet, there are less smells for dogs to get distracted and more opportunities for photos ✨

Hey y’all! I have created a free zoom session for dog parents, potential adopters, foster parents, volunteers, and anyone interested in learning more about dogs! 💓 I’ll be holding them biweekly, the first one will be held Friday, November 3rd, at 6pm. I’ll be going over dog’s body language, adjustment period from shelter life to home life of both dogs and their owners/foster parents, and enrichment info! The goal is to set everyone up for success and give free education & advice to make it affordable and possible for everyone! PUPPARAZI is here ✨🤭 Tehee. I had the honor of taking photoshoots for all these Red Carpet pups from NAWS Humane Society of Illinois ♥️ These pups are extra special and so is the shelter they’re from. Here’s some information on why that is from NAWS:
“NAWS doesn’t euthanize in order to make space for animals. This also means not euthanizing for behavioral reasons. A lot of "kill shelters" will euthanize for minor behavioral problems, where at NAWS we believe that all dogs (and cats) deserve a chance at a forever home.
Some of our dogs here have had a tough past and we can not begin to imagine the trauma they must have endured before making it to us, or even just the trauma of being given up on by who they thought were their forever families. This leads to nervous behavior and it can take some time for these dogs to come around. This does not make them any less deserving of a good forever home. But, it certainly does not make them a bad dog
So lets meet some of these dogs, the ones who are shy, nervous, often overlooked, and are working on some minor behavior issues. We want to break the stigma against these behaviors and shed some light on the dogs struggling in our shelter, who have been here for a very long time.
Click on their photos and read their captions in order to learn a little bit more about them and where they came from, why they are struggling, and all of the reasons they are good and deserving of being loved. These dogs have waited far too long and it is our goal to get them adopted with just the right people.

Our 6 week basic obedience class graduated today! 🤭💗 They all did soooo amazing and I’m so proud of each of these pups & their dedicated owners. It’s always amazing to see the difference in dogs & their owners from first to last class. They all walked out of graduation today more confident, engaged, & with their relationship even stronger! Rewarding your dog is effective because it reinforces behaviors but… if you give your dog something they dislike or don’t care about then it can actually decrease the desire/wanted behavior instead! Different types of rewards include touch, environment, eye contact, playtime, verbal praise, and of course food based reward! Some dogs prefer a combination of those and or have a main reward system they work best with. Others have both! Do you know what your dogs favorite or preferred rewards are? 🐾

Sending a little love through to all the shelter dogs with treatos 🫶🏼 I came in early to work just for this (on volunteer time of course) ✨ I was able to give a treat to all 50+ dogs. Not all are shown cause the video would’ve been over the time limit. But, all the pups loved these treats and were happy as can be to receive the extra love & attention. Dog guarding their vomit? ⬇️ There’s a ton of possibilities for this but, these are the most common in my opinion. ESPECIALLY for a dog who is already prone to resource guarding like Ohana is… 1) It’s valuable Sounds weird I know. But, at the end of the day it’s nutrients. AKA partly digested food and water! I’ve also read that in certain cases (often in the wild) if a canine is feeling insecure, they’ll gulp down their food to avoid it having it taken away from another predator, then later will throw it back up to eat it later on when they feel safe enough! Not saying this is what our dogs do but, it makes complete sense. Genetics are genetics. 2) They’re in pain or discomfort Who likes being sick? Nobody. That includes dogs! Older dogs, sick dogs, hurt dogs, and tired dogs are more likely to resource guard. 3) Feeling anxious & trying to have control Sounds relatable, right? Lol. If a dog is nervous that’s its own whole reason to resource guard. But, a dog who is trying to control their environment and feels like it can’t or like only one specific thing can help it, is another reason in itself! A little complicated I know. But, think of all the things in your life you try to control when anxious! Dogs have a very limited amount of options. 4) They’re scared Scared dogs bite. I’ll say it forever! Doesn’t mean your dogs mean or aggressive. If your dog doesn’t know what just happened or is just utterly scared about the situation in itself, they can do things they usually don’t, likeeee resource guard! 5) Your reaction This one really correlates to all the above. But, if you’re yelling, shocked, upset, or angry… your dog is going to be scared, confused, anxious, uncomfortable, and everything else I listed above & more! Take it slow. Speak soft and if you’re upset, walk away. You don’t want to escalate the situation!#DogVomit #DogMom #DogPuke #DogTraining #DogTrainer #DogResourceGuarding #Dog101
Blitz 🌈 A 13 year old shepherd who has now crossed the rainbow bridge. The way his family talked about him almost broke me down during the session. But, I always promise myself to cry before or after, never during! It’s my job to be strong and give the family the strength they need to continue with the shoot.
