Meet Hershey!

This boy talks a big talk but with a hug from mom and liver treats, I was able to perform the nail trim out on the front porch with no stress!

Meet Ozzy, Fergie, & Jovi!

"Leanne came to our home to help us with introductions of a 75lb dog to a 1.5lb dog. The little one was feisty but the big dog couldn't figure out how to behave around such a tiny dog. He became stressed and angry. Leanne came to our home and talked to us and watched our dogs for a while before she came up with a plan. Her methods worked exactly as she predicted. We took the time to follow her direction and now our dogs are fast friends. She also helped us with some issues we had with walking our big dogs together. Leanne was always so friendly and helpful. We are so lucky to have found her and recommend her to anyone needing help with any dog issues!”

I love all my clients and their pets, but this family has a special place in my heart. They’ve listened and implemented all my suggestions while practicing every day, they are kind and tip me WAY more than necessary. They mentioned they’ve paid way more for trainers and nothing has worked and what I suggested worked right away so they wanted to show me how much they appreciate me. It means everything to me to just be trusted and able to help those around me ❤️

Pet sitting!!

Handsome Chip came over for a sleep over last minute while his family went away for the weekend. He and my pip Hunter had a great time! We went on walks, played on the back deck and had extra cuddles.

I send photos or videos daily to keep the fur parents updated, and give them a bit of piece of mind that their fur baby is doing well ❤️❤️❤️

Meet Jessie!

“Jessie loves people but gets very nervous when getting her nails cut. Leanne was super sweet and patient with her, and did a fantastic job trimming her nails. Bonus, she comes right to your house and in full PPE.”

Cupcake barked at the door like crazy to warn her family but once she was outside on the front deck in her momma’s arms she was the best - didn’t move a muscle!

Meet Miss Kumi!

This is a very special client of mine. She often tells me I’m her guardian Angel and she doesn’t know what she’d do without me. Although my visits are usually very short, I do try to get to know the families in that short time and I love that I’ve been able to help not only this sweet girl but also her owner.

Meet Oliver!!!

“Oliver HATES getting his nails trimmed, but Leanne popped in to my place (after my neighbour asked if she had the time when she finished her 2 pets nails) fully masked in our Covid 19 times, trimmed Oliver's in under 5mins with not a peep! I'll be booking her going forward! BOOM! DONE!”

Meet Lua and Izzy!

With some cuddles from mom and lots of beef liver treats, these two were rockstars for their nail trims this afternoon!

I used to work with their momma at the Calgary Humane Society so it was great having a quick catch up while we gave them a mani/pedi outside on the back deck!

I’m still wearing my full PPE and asking dog owners to do the nail trims outside if possible when the weather is nice to keep everyone as safe as possible!

Sweet Pepper, it was so nice meeting you this morning ❤️

“Pepper is a bit of an anxious doggie. When I’d take her to the salon to get her nails trimmed, she shake and it got to the point where she’d try to nip. We had a great experience with Leanne. She came to our home (in full PPE) and she was amazing with Pepper. She was kind, understanding and took her time to make Pepper comfortable. I’m grateful we have people like her to help out the pets who are more of a challenge.”

Thank you flowers from one of my clients 😭❤️

You guys, helping owners with their fur babies fills my heart. In this specific case, I got a text message that made my heart sink - I just felt something was wrong. The owner let me know their pup was at the 24 hour hospital in pretty serious condition and was hoping I could give them some advice. I dropped everything and contacted some people to give the owners as much information as I could to try and help ease their minds during this excruciatingly stressful time.

I am happy to report that the sweet pup is doing great! Almost back to normal and almost finished the prescribed medications ❤️

Meet Odin and Khione!!

“Odin ( Norwegian elkhound) and Khione ( Siberian husky/Shepard) met Leanne December 28th 2020. Both Odin and Khione immediately loved her the second they saw her. And they enjoy her company when she comes and does their nails and when we get together with her puppy and go for walks. Leanne is completely amazing with both dogs. She even came out and helped looked for Khione when she had accidentally gotten out. We highly recommend Leanne to everyone 😊”

Meet Joey!!

“Leanne comes monthly to do this beasts nails. She is always on top of covid precautions. Very friendly and professional. I highly recommend her as Joey and myself feel completely comfortable with her.”

Meet the pack!!!

“Leanne was so great with our pets! One of our cats came to greet her at the door and she spent time talking to her and petting her. You can definitely tell she has a genuine love for Animals. She was so sweet and gentle with all our pets and had all their nails trimmed in no time. She was patient and calm while waiting to ensure everyone was comfortable before clipping them. We highly recommend her 🙂”

5 pets, 1 visit and it took maybe 45 minutes because I couldn’t stop loving on them!

Meet Buddy!!

Buddy is my neighbour’s boy, I’ve known him since he was a wee pup and I’ve loved watching him grow. He was SUCH a good boy for his nail trim! Great for his second as well.

Meet Murphy and Beatrice!!

These two are regulars of mine. We’ve learned that Murphy does better when dad is around to give him face rubs and Beatrice prefers to be bunny burritoed on the ground as that feels safer than in mom’s arms when the procedure is happening.

Meet Bennett and Rosie!!

I spent almost an hour trying to clip these babies nails the first time. Their momma picked Rosie up like this and it worked!!! No amount of calm talking, high reward treats, a muzzle, coming in sideways and kneeling (less intimidating to the pups) would work. Sometimes you just gotta go with what works and this is our trick for Rosie that works! For Bennett, it’s using a Dremel instead of clippers!

Meet Louis!!!

We’ve been working hard to find what works best for Mr. Louis when it comes to his nail trims. I’m proud of him and his momma for their commitment to the procedure and trying to do whatever it takes!

His momma says: “Leanne has been amazing! She makes the experience very easy and convenient, in addition to reasonably priced! Louis is VERY fussy about his nails, but Leanne gets it done quickly and painlessly (my opinion, perhaps not drama-queen Louis’ haha). Leanne put a schedule and plan together to get him more used to it and it’s working great; he’s been easier with each visit, I know he feels better when they are trimmed and he is happy to get his well-deserves treat after! Highly recommend!!”

Meet Hairy!!

Hairy was SO scared but with lots of love from mom and dad as well as some special treats, we were able to trim all of his nails while providing him with lots of breaks and patience!

Meet Baxter and Buddy!!

“My two pups Baxter and Buddy met Leanne for the first time a few weeks ago. She was very gentle with them and introduced herself to make them more comfortable. It was a quick and easy nail trim and I didn’t have to load my pups and take them to the vet. Thanks, Leanne!”

“If you are linked to a person on social media who works in veterinary medicine you may have noticed them changing their profile picture to include "NOMV" with the Rod of Asclepius. Some of you may know, but if you don't, NOMV stands for Not One More Vet because we have one of the highest su***de rates of any profession. When you see your friend or social media acquaintance change their profile, it's usually because they have learned of another colleague that succumbed to su***de. We lost 2 more this week alone. Be kind to your veterinary staff. From the front desk staff, technicians, kennel attendants and doctors. We are literally dying trying to help you and your pets. We are humans, not punching bags. Your words and behavior matter.”

When I say I love animals, I mean it. They are my life, I’ve never known anything else, I’ve never wanted to work any other career. But, it. Is. HARD.

When we say we care and love your pets, we mean it! We pour our hearts and souls in to this profession. When you can’t be there for them, we are.

In these photos I’m crying over having to say goodbye to a dog that wasn’t even mine. I told her in that moment “until we meet again, I love you”

Meet Ringo!!!

Ringo’s mom want to share the following: “Ringo hates getting his nails trimmed. He won’t even let us go near them. I was fully prepared for the nail trim to be a failure, but Leanne cut all of his nails! By the end of it he was even calm. I highly recommend Leanne for nail trims, especially for dogs who are very resistant to them.”
