Yesterday, my dear client Zoey crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was a lovely goldendoodle with the sweetest disposition. Each dog holds a piece of my heart. I have so many memories I'll treasure, but perhaps 2 of my favourite is how she would flick my hand to pet her head as I had my coffee. That, and how she would go into the neighbours' home to steal Baileys stuffies. She will be greatly missed.

Tessa was loyal, intelligent and fiercely determined to keep coyotes away. She loved sunbathing and was known to train every dog I ever worked with. I often joked that she was my #1 employee. My neighbour's referred to her affectionately as the Shawnmarr CIA.

It is bittersweet that Father Time came for Tessa and walked her over the Rainbow Bridge. I am sad to see her go, but relieved that her suffering is over. She was one of a kind and will surely be missed. Gone, but never forgotten.
