Sikka is a juvenile Indian black kite who is about 3 months old, he was found in bonta biodiversity park, he fell out of his nest, no injuries were found

“Hi I’m sikka! that is what fauna foundation team named me! they found me on the ground after I fell out of the nest, I think my brother ( who is a bully ) pushed me, a very nice gentleman saw me flapping my wings on the ground, he took no time to call Fauna Foundation
They rescued me and took me to their shelter, where they named me Sikka
They take good care of me and teach me new things so that I can grow up and survive the wild”

They look scary but that doesn’t mean they what to harm you.
A lot of people in India still think if they bite you , one will die.
Tales told by old people still live on, and they suffer in the middle as people end up killing them out of fear.

We are more focused towards reptiles, as they are the ones who face utmost cruelty at every level. ...

Microbats are 4 to 16 cm (1.6–6.3 in) long.[2] Most microbats feed on insects, but some of the larger species hunt birds, lizards, frogs, smaller bats or even fish. Only three species of microbat feed on the blood of large mammals or birds ("vampire bats"); these bats live in South and Central America.

Indotyphlops braminus, commonly known as the brahminy blind snake[3] and other names, is a nonvenomous blind snake species found mostly in Africa and Asia, but has been introduced in many other parts of the world. They are completely fossorial (i.e., burrowing) animals, with habits and appearance similar to earthworms, for which they are often mistaken, although close examination reveals tiny scales rather than the annular segments characteristic of true earthworms. The species is parthenogenetic and all known specimens have been female. The specific name is a Latinized form of the word Brahmin. No subspecies are currently recognized.

15th August/ Independence Day, Basant Panchmi, and all of the kite flying festivals have passed long ago, yet the kite threads have been hanging on the trees where the birds are being stuck and loosing lives in the most peculiar ways.
Same was the case with this poor bird, where she was stuck since days until we got a call.

The Egyptian vulture (Neophron percnopterus), also called the white scavenger vulture or pharaoh's chicken, is a small Old World vulture and the only member of the genus Neophron. It is widely distributed from the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa to India. The contrasting underwing pattern and wedge-shaped tail make it distinctive in flight as it soars in thermals during the warmer parts of the day. Egyptian vultures feed mainly on carrion but are opportunistic and will prey on small mammals, birds, and reptiles. They also feed on the eggs of other birds, breaking larger ones by tossing a large pebble onto them.

A moment of satisfaction, a second of fear, a memory of happiness that will stay with us forever.

An Egyptian Vulture who came to us drenched in the rain and with a injured claw, the poor bird was unable to fly and took shelter on the a cabin on a roof of a shop
After endless call for help the report didn’t give up and came across helpline number
The bird was brought in and treated for his injury and a the team worked all night to keep him warm and dry.
The bird had to stay with us for a day as the rain didn’t stop

As the sun came out, the bird was realised

A sense of peace and a whole lot of adrenaline rushes in our body as we see it go

Monitor lizards are one of the most common monitors, who can be seen walking, swimming, climbing tress, etc all over India.
As January is being ended, a lot of reptiles have started coming out of hibernation. We received a call about this monitor lizard, who had been spotted basking by the owner of a house. The owner was very scared as he didn't know what to do, and thought of the lizard to be dangerous. He couldn't agree to leave the lizard there, even when he was told that the animal wasn't harmful at all.

So this happened when we were spreading awareness to the people about not killing the snakes and then this happened. There is no concrete reason for why they're doing it, but its just their thing for the drugs. These people are the reason for the Wildlife being destroyed. We can just focus on their living, or on what is right or what is wrong.

These turtles used to be the utmost scavengers and were seen at various water bodies around the country, but being unable to protect themselves from humans, these turtles have been badly hunted to the extent, where they have become rare and are continuously declining in wild.
