Providing a foster home for a dog is a temporary situation, helping restore a collie to health and dignity. You can turn on and off having a collie if you like to travel or have other commitments. Our rescue pays for the medical expenses, including the vaccinations being brought up to date, heartworm testing, spay/neuters, prescriptions and preventatives. The foster provides a safe home for the dog to decompress while being evaluated for adoption. The foster may teach the dog basic commands like SIT, how to walk on a leash, playing with toys and eating properly from a bowl.

Winnie was one of our adorable chunky pups 😆 She has grown into such a beautiful teen! Mom says she is quite Sassy, and absolutely refuses to go outside when the sun is up during the summer. She’d rather hold it than be hot. Smart girl!
