Just a quick update as my hoomans are super busy. I'm home and feeling much better. Thank you to all my followers for the worldwide positive healing thoughts and wishes. Looks like I've still got a few lives left yet ❤️💙🤍🩶

"Day 4 Barry update. He is a little brighter today, will do more bloods on Monday. His temperature is now at an acceptable level without drugs. His IV line has been removed and he can go out into a yard where he gets the full gamut of trains, planes and automobiles. The RAAF base is across the road and the train line is at the back of the vets. He manages to evade most of the vets if they have a needle and so he is wearing his halter full time at the moment. I take this as a good sign. I was able to visit him today and spend quality time with lots of pats and kisses but you could see he tired very easily. I believe everyone’s healing thoughts and get well wishes are working. Fingers crossed he continues in the right direction. 💙🦇🩶💙❤️"

From Robyn- "Barry update. Still very sick but all blood indicators are in the right direction. He is bright as a button, eating, trotting around and tries to escape the axe murderer (any vet with a needle). Coming out of intensive care today, IV line out, if all goes well, should be able to come home next week. PCR test results should come back today which will give the best indication of what is wrong and whether it is contagious. Happy days 💙❤️🩵"

Barry update from Robyn: "Came through the night ok. Vet says he is eating and has poohed, which is being sent for testing. Results should be back tomorrow. Vet is now the axe murder equivalent if she has a needle in her hand. With drugs he is feeling better and you would not know how sick he is, but as the drugs wear off his temp goes back to 40+. He is being stuffed full of antibiotics just in case. The problem is definitely gastrointestinal but they don’t know what. Hopefully the test results will help. Vet will call again this afternoon. I will try and go and see him. He is hanging in there."

Latest Update 😥
Barry is critically ill and on his way to the vets. He has no white blood cells, "count is 2,4 should be 8,000, other markers indicate massive infection of some kind."
Everything crossed for little Batsh*t Barry 🤞🤞🤞💙🩶💙🩶

Update from Robyn
"Vet has been. Taken bloods. His heart rate is way too high at 57 but temp is still good. More drugs. Barry said he would rather die than be tubed. Will see what the bloods say." 💙🩶💙🩶

Update 11/7
Temp is down a bit and had a little pooh. Vet is not happy, coming back to tube him and take bloods this morning. Hang in there, little man 💙🩶💙🩶

"Barry is perhaps a little brighter but still very quiet, has eaten a small amount of his teff hay net. Still no poohs though."

Please, tonight, say a prayer for Batsh*t Barry. Our blessed little man has come down suddenly with severe, viral colic. Vet has attended, providing pain relief and drugs to try and reduce his sky-high temperature. Robyn will be monitoring him throughout the night and vet is on call if needed. Stay strong, little fighter, you haven't used up your nine lives yet! 💙🩶💙🩶
