Dam: “Del Monte”, CKC Squamates produced butter stripe ph hypo
I never observed a physical lock from either male with Del Monte. Clutch laid 28 May, so somewhere around that same date in July will reveal who dad is. If all stripes, sire 1. Any blotched babies means sire 2.
Ignore the date, this has become the official Phelsuma standingi pair #1 egg container.
This is baby #4 from them. I unfortunately cracked egg #3, and while searching for eggs 5 & 6 they fell from the top of the adult cage; amateur mistake! Clutch #4 (eggs 7 & 8) can be seen here.
Additionally, my 2nd standingi pair surprised me with a clutch last week. All adults are unrelated to one another, so nice diversity.

HA Baby is offspring that traces back to Heart Attack, Nanci’s world first peppermint stripe. I’m going her coloration is due to het cinder influence. Though usually good, I’m struggling to remember if HA Baby is an offspring of HA or a grandchild.

Phelsuma standingi (1st clutch of 2024) and Lygodactylus williamsi (2nd clutch of 2024) eggs, respectively.
First "successful" clutch of Leopard Rat Snakes (Zamenis situla). The striped mutation is a dominant, natural occurring, wild phenotype. What I initially thought was 2 blotched and 2 striped babies is more like 1 blotch, 1 intermediate blotch/stripe, and 2 stripes; one of which looks to be almost perfect. Studio shots once they are through feeding trials. They just completed their post-hatch shed and were set up tonight into their rearing tubs.
68 days at 81°F later…
Not BAD at all to end the 2023 snake egg season. Dad is striped and mom is blotched. 2 of each in this clutch. No 2-headers for 2023.
