Oogway passed this afternoon after we decided euthanasia was the kindest thing to do. He didn't improve over the last few days and couldn't keep his temperatures up.

• Breeding this season has become so unlikely that I've reevaluated everything again. I'm deciding to take a step back for now. Although breeding is still a dream of mine, mentally, I'm not 100% up for it, and neither are my geckos. Moving has proven to be quite tough. Let alone the explosion of cresties in the Netherlands at the moment. I want the best for my animals and don't want to endanger them of getting a sub-par home.

• However I do want to continue with my reptiles, I am absolutely in love with these animals and love how supportive this community can be. I will keep documenting our adventures.

Sleeping 😴

Did you know crested geckos are crepuscular? Meaning they are most active during dusk and dawn. During the day they will usually hide and sleep!

Also, heading to Houten tomorrow! I am so stupidly nervous, but I keep thinking it's just people who also like reptiles 😅.
