***We cannot keep saving dogs if our current dogs aren’t getting adopted as they’re taking up space in foster homes & costing us so much money. We have to get her shots updated now that she’s been with us for so long.

Meet Presley, a 3-year-old Velcro girl with a heart full of love, ready to find her forever home. Presley is the ultimate companion, always eager for quality time with her humans. She thrives on affection, playful moments, and the comfort of knowing she’ll never have to worry about being abandoned again.

Presley is a well-mannered walker, showing excellent leash behavior with minimal pulling, making her a joy to take on strolls. She’s also house and crate trained and knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” Her foster trusts her enough to leave her loose in the house, knowing she’ll behave perfectly even when unsupervised.

In her foster home, Presley has shown she’s cat-friendly and gets along well with other dogs, happily engaging in playtime with them in the yard. However, Presley has a strong, confident personality, so she would do best in a home with submissive dogs that allow her to take on the alpha role or even as the only dog being the center of attention. Slow, proper introductions to other pets are essential to ensure a smooth transition. While she does crave human companionship, Presley has learned to enjoy being part of a pack in her foster home and could do the same in her forever home if there are other dogs. Although she can be reactive towards other dogs and animals while on a leash, she’s easily redirected and responds well to guidance.

Presley’s story is one of resilience and unwavering loyalty. She’s looking for a family who will love her unconditionally and provide her with the security she deserves. She would thrive in a home where she's the center of attention (only pet) and maybe even with parents that work from home or are retired (though not required). Could you be the one to offer Presley the forever home she’s been waiting for?

We suspect that Presley is a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier mix based on general appearance, but we have no way of knowing for sure without a DNA test.

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our adoption fee is $325 plus health certificate and transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), f***l analysis, spay, and a heartworm test. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.

Can anyone in DFW area of TX temp foster Gypsy from 7/31 to 8/4 (after 4 pm)? Foster is going out of town and I need to find somewhere for Gypsy to stay. She’s dog and cat friendly! Takes a little bit to warm up to people, but food does the trick! She’s super sweet, crate trained, healthy, and fully vetted! Please let me know if you or someone you know can! TIA! 🙏🏼

Don’t want to have to board her as she just got out of the shelter a month ago and it’ll be too stressful.

🥹Poe has been with us since November. Please help us find him a furever home, we know it’s out there! He’s in DFW, TX, but available for adoption & transport out of state to PNW, MW, & NE.

Meet Poe, a charming, smiley 2 year old pup. He is SO sweet, he just wants to cuddle with his people and give kisses! He is perfectly happy as long as he's next to his humans! He’d be a great adventure buddy and would love someone with an active lifestyle & maybe even a fenced yard to run around in. He loves to go on walks!

Poe is both house and crate trained. He's fantastic with dogs (even cuddles with them), curious about cats (he's just playful & interested in them), and adaptable as a single pet or with dog siblings. While good with children, we suggest kids ages 8 or older due to his playful nature and tendency to jump out of excitement.

Poe is an active, sweet boy who adores bones, snuggling, and knows the command "sit." Plus, he's not bothered by a rumba vacuum—quite the lively and lovable companion! He's a truly special guy!!

I mean... do you see that SMILE? Someone please give this adorable, smiley boy his furever home, he so deserves it!

Super senior Gertie was dumped by her “family” on the side of the road in Greenville, TX last week. Our good friend / foster McKenna picked her up and asked if a rescue could help with her care, so we stepped up. The bill just from today came out to $434 for Gertie. We could really use your help… donation methods are below. 🙏🏼

She has advanced heartworms we have to do slow kill treatment for, a shoulder that dislocated/broke at some point in her life & healed wrong (on meds for arthritis now for mobility / pain purposes), covered in ticks including all inside of her ears, full of parasites (literally being eaten alive causing severe diarrhea which in turn caused dehydration & extreme weight loss), very anemic due to fleas & ticks (making her gums pale and her paw pads cold), and much more. We will have to get more heartworm preventatives for slow kill treatment, all of her shots as she couldn’t get them today with all the other medications she got, more pain medicine, etc. We could REALLY use your help with this bill.

Sweet Bella had to be rushed to the emergency vet as her throat was swelling up & she has to be hospitalized for 4 days because she has a horrible infection in her neck.

The total cost of treatment with hospitalization is projected at a “low” of $3,246 and high of $4,058!!!! A minimum deposit of 50% ($1623.28) was required for them to start treating her. This is the only emergency vet we could reach yesterday to get her in immediately due to the storm.. her foster called all over and no one else was available.

💔We rescued Bella (formerly known as Eden) from euthanasia recently after the shelter vet performed an emergency spay abort as there were complications with the puppies during labor. She’s had such a hard time since she lost her babies & now she’s dealing with this, so we would really appreciate any prayers while she’s recovering. 💔

🙏🏼If anyone can donate towards her bill directly to the vet or via any of the methods below, we would be furever grateful. We can’t keep saving dogs (and now cats) without the support of the public as we rely on donations to keep going. We have lots of other dogs and cats in foster homes (& 2 in boarding indefinitely) all over right now as well and we need to be able to provide everything they need until they’re adopted!

Help! 🙏🏼Lobo needs a foster in DFW, TX or adopter as his foster returned him and he is in boarding… he deserves to be in a home & we cannot keep paying $15 a day for boarding indefinitely!! Lobo has been waiting for a home of his own since October. ⭐️ He is available for transport to the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, and North East!!

Some info about Lobo & the adoption/foster process:

🩵 3 year old Lobo is a German Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix and weighs about 65-70 pounds. He is well-behaved, very affectionate, and loves attention! He rarely barks and is house & crate trained, displaying good behavior both indoors and outdoors. Such a sweetheart and loves his people! He sleeps peacefully in his crate at night and travels well in the car. Lobo does well with other dogs of different sizes and is very friendly with people!

With a moderate activity level, Lobo enjoys walks of varying lengths. A fenced yard or active lifestyle is ideal for Lobo and he is not trained to be off-leash. Lobo responds to basic commands like sit, stay, come, heel (for leash walking), and off (for not jumping on people). He will stop 2 feet from his crate and will sit and wait for his person to pet, kiss, hug him, and then he goes in his crate while he waits for his goodie!

Lobo is ready for a loving home to cherish and support him throughout his life. Could you give him a lifetime of love? 🥹🩵

I’m Charlie! I am 2.5 yrs old. I am 43lbs, crate trained, and neutered! Unfortunately, I lived alone for a month when my family moved away and they left me behind. I forgive them and I just really want to be a part of a new family who will love me forever! I have energy for long walks, but I also could cuddle endlessly on the couch. Jaxxon has made it his family in Illinois!! After he was adopted from the Greenville, TX high kill shelter to avoid euthanasia 6 months ago and not having any luck finding him a home in Texas, we stepped in to help his foster Rhonda find him a home. Within days of him being on Petfinder a few weeks ago, we found him a really great family! Happy tails, Jaxxon!! 🩵🐾
