I had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte’s new mom today. She shared with me that Charlotte (new name Aspen) would be flying to Paris a few times a year since they have family there. This was the inspiration for my theme this week. 🥖🍷🍶🧀🧑‍🎨.

Our Cavapoo puppies trying food for the first time. I use PawTree turkey and brown rice, goat’s milk, and NuVet powdered vitamins. It’s then blended in the Vitamix into a thin slurry.

What a beautiful day for a photo shoot outside by the pool. This was definitely the inspiration for my sunshine theme. Our Cavapoos are almost four weeks old and proving to be very sweet and affectionate. Our puppies are raised in our home as part of the family. We expose them to the daily sounds of life such as vacuum cleaners, four active labradoodles, three teenage boys, and environmental sounds we play through videos in their puppy room. How are we different? Our puppy parents have all been genetically tested to be sure they are free of any genetic issues. We also test the parents for eyes, knees (patellar luxation issues), hips, and cardiac issues through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). At Bark & Bramble we pride ourselves on healthy parents to provide healthy puppies that are well loved and cared for before being adopted by you. Ed here. You know, Ed the Labradoodle. Some of you may be asking why am I so great? Let me assure you, I am very special. Besides my more obvious traits (dashing good looks, great personality, and je ne sais quoi (I speak French too!)), I am part of a very special, modern breed: Australian Labradoodles. You may know all about the Doodle craze going on these last few years, I’m not just some back-seat of your ’57 Chevy Doodle. I am part of a very breed of Labradoodles started down in Australia in the 1970s. This means I am a Multigenerational Labroodle. Let me put on my Argyle sweater and break out my chalkboard. You know what, just look at me! But my family has been bred long enough those F2b3acd5 designations used for those other Doodles no longer mean anything to Us. Do not worry about us expressing more Poodle or Lab traits. My family tree is so big, that we Australian Labradoodles have super consistent coats and personalities. Actually, rather than listening to myself talk (which I could do all day), you can read more about my family tree at the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association. That’s right, I’m so special, there is a world-spanning association of Special Agents making sure we stay super-extra special. WALA has rules for its members. Important rules. These rules keep us, the dogs, safe and healthy. Here are some of the more important rules for my breed: All of us checked for hip and elbow dysplasia before breeding, which helps to minimize this congenital deformity. We are each DNA profiled to ensure genetic diversity prior to breeding. On top of the rules, Individual Breeder-Members can get extra stars for going above and beyond. Who doesn’t like getting stars? Anyway, my Breeder is the same one we get our puppies from, the ones I help train. Moonlit Acres is an 8-Star Breeder with WALA! That means they give each puppy: Certified Hip Exam Certified Elbow Exam DNA Profile Certified Eye Exam Making sure we don’t have
