Rabbitry breeding Rex Rabbits for Show and Pet. Racing Rain Rabbitry Sales Policy
First and foremost, thank you for considering and/or purchasing your newest rabbit addition from Racing Rain Rabbitry. These sales policies are for the benefit of my rabbits. By purchasing any rabbits from me, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below.
• All Sales are final. No refunds, replacements,
or exchanges.
• No rabbits will leave my possession until they are paid in full.
• Once any rabbits leave my possession, I will not be held liable for any problems that arise from our transaction.
• I offer discounts to FFA and 4-H members however I will not sell a rabbit to anyone under the age of 18 without parental consent. You must also provide a membership card to obtain said discount.
• My rabbitry is privately owned. I do not have set hours that I am available. If you would like to inspect and/or interact with a rabbit you are interested in, we can arrange a time for you to come to my rabbitry. I do all meet and Greets on my front porch to provide my herd a peaceful and disease-free environment.
• If you come into a position where you can no longer take care of your rabbit I will consider taking it back. You are free to contact me and ask me if I have an available space for your rabbit. If I do not have room or refuse to take the rabbit back it is up to you to rehome your rabbit.
• I reserve the right to cancel a sale in person or via the internet with no explanation.
• I require a 50% deposit to hold a rabbit. Rabbits will be held for one week after deposit is made or a week after weaning unless other arrangements are made.
• Deposits are non-refundable. If I cancel a sale without notice then your deposit will be returned.
• Rabbits are sold at a first come first serve basis. I will not hold a rabbit without a deposit.
• If your rabbit is not picked up within 24-hours of our arranged pickup time and date your deposit/ payments will be forfeited.
• If you chose to forfeit the sale for any reason your deposit/payments will be forfeited as well.
• Rabbits will not leave my rabbitry any younger than eight weeks.
• I accept cash or PayPal.
• I do not guarantee a rabbit’s show or breeding results. I also do not guarantee any rabbit’s future breeding ability, reproductive performance, quality of offspring, show winning, temperament, or size, etc.
• You are responsible to look over the rabbit you are interested in. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know what you are looking for, and to confirm it is free from disqualifications and is the show quality you expect.
• I do not knowingly sell any sick animals, and all rabbits are sold healthy to the best of my knowledge. I will not be responsible for any vet bills incurred by rabbits that have been sold.
• I make every effort to correctly identify the s*x of all rabbits however rabbit gender cannot be 100% guaranteed.
• I handle my rabbits on a regular basis. I will not sell any rabbits that show any aggression.
• I do not offer a carrier for you to transport your rabbit home. Please come prepared.
• I do not ship rabbits but am willing to work with a transporter. Once rabbits are accepted by the transport service I am no longer responsible for said rabbit.
°I am not responsible for any transport costs. Transport is 100% buyers responsibility.
• I can bring rabbits to shows that I already plan on attending. If you are a no show/no call you forfeit your deposit and the rabbit will be made available.
• Rabbits sold as “pet quality” will not come with a pedigree. I am willing to tattoo a symbol in their ear if you need a way to identify them.
• Rabbits with pedigrees will not leave my rabbitry without a tattoo in their left ear.
• Pedigrees will be emailed within 24-hours of full payment. Pedigrees can be printed out if you prefer, but please tell me ahead of time so I can have it available when you pick-up your rabbit.
• Rabbits sold for meat will not come with a pedigree.
