Rye De CaliBreton tied to his cart on a mission to gather clothes from the house after the fires came through and burnt down the neighborhood. Sean and his family were displaced from the Eaton Fire. All of their neighbors lost their homes but Sean’s house survived. I’m so happy their house survived, but it’s still devastating to lose your neighbors and potentially be out of your house for up to a year. Due to the severe smoke damage, they are not allowed to enter their home until it’s passed inspection and that can take up to a year. What a terrible time and a terrible thing to go through.

Jazzy and W***y Dee CaliBreton. Mother and son! W***y crushed it today. He was stocking a qauil even slowed to down to a point. Right when he was hitting his point a qauil came up! Was so impressed for a puppy who has never hunted qauil before. He ran a solid 2 hours in the heat never once getting tired or wanting to take a break. Every second he was hunting. W***y is going to be a rockstar. Like most French Brittany.

Miss those two CaliBreton legends! The founders of CaliBreton Kennels! The good thing about being a breeder is you get to bring happiness and joy to many people lives. You also get to see hundreds if not thousands of amazing dogs over a lifetime. But unfortunately the bad thing is, retiring dogs is part of the process. Both Gigi and Pip have since been retired and are dearly missed. Both are in even better homes than what we offered them. Pip was a gunslinging pocket rocket that never missed. Gigi on the other hand was Hall of Fame status. has her now! He gets to feel the benefits of owning and hunting her! Pip lives with a retired detective and they spend they spend their time camping and hunting.

Incredibly sad news, to hear about the passing of Sampson . Sampson was only 5 years old!!! Way too young to die. Sampson was a hell of a hunting dog. He was a very sweet lab and always on his best behavior. Scout and Gigi will miss their big brother and protector. He was loyal to those two dogs and always looked out for them! A few more pheasant will survive this year 🥲 😪😪😪 🪦 ❤️ ❤️
