I realized I hadn't shared Zuko's arrival here. He made it safe and sound and got set up right away.
I've got to say, I LOVE how easy he is to feed and he'll save me money and mice's pointless deaths. I've figured out, if I feed Silky first and if he chooses not to eat, Zuko will be more than happy to take his refusals.
The first time I fed him that boy threw his body out the door when I opened it to reach in and show him that the mouse was in his bowl. Now I know there is no point in showing him where the mouse is. He KNOWS just where it is and I'm the one who threw off his routine. He is the sweetest of boys and oh so friendly. I'm happy to have him for a long as needed.
By the way... I found out just how good my reflexes are when I caught Zuko mid lunge and redirected him back into his enclosure. Like we choreographed it! 💃🐍

I got a scale to weight packages aaaaand snakes. Here's a shot of the big noodle. The poor baby was so sweet. We were snuggling on the couch for about 20 minutes before heading to the scale where I noticed the pretty blue haze. Lorissa, you have an incredibly sssssweet sssssnake.

Some changes had to be made... Lorissa has a grande noodle and that pot just couldn't contain all his/her loveliness so back to the hat which he/she loves so much. The vase was not something that was well loved and the pool took up too much room(and went unused) so out with the vase, in with the original water dish(again), flip the pool, and voila! A new hide and more room.
