For several days now firefighters in our town are battling with wildfires in the Swartberg Mountains, putting their own life's at risk.

Oudtshoorn Diereherberg reached out to them with a donation of items needed to show our gratitude for working tirelessly in order to safeguard residents, tourists, critical infrastructure as well as our wildlife.

These wildfires were reportedly ignited by lightning strikes across various mountainous regions.

We need to pay salaries TODAY to make sure that our kennel carers arrive in the new year for work. We need them as they clean our cages and attend to our rescues. Without them we will be forced to close down our kennels and put all our rescues to sleep. Something we really don't want to do.

Did you know how much preassure welfare organisations are under?

Last week our CEO ended up in hospital with her heart (stress related). PLEASE we really DO need the support of every follower on this page.
