The Burmese loves being with, playing with, and keeping their people entertained. They are often known as velcro cats, loving to be physically close to their person. In fact, if there’s an empty lap - a Burmese will likely fill it shortly.

The Burmese has a coat that is short and close-lying with a very silky texture. Their large, expressive eyes radiate an innocence that will seduce you, and they have an irresistible appeal that has won over many a person who thought he didn’t like cats. They need very little grooming, usually requiring only some daily petting.

Happy Father’s Day to Frankie, the father of all of my kittens - a litter of six 10 week old Bombays and FOUR pregnant girls all due in the next month. To say he does his job right the first time is an understatement. He carries colors and he’s gentle with the girls. He’s a flopper on the floor like his daddy Bruno and a shoulder cat like his mama Sora. I’m just so happy to have him, and he lives a charmed life with my parents. He turns 1 on the 27th. Pictured is him with his brothers and sister MNBurm Galatea of Amalurra from his mom’s next litter, him with my mom, who just had a birthday too, and him with his brother Charlie and mama Sora.

Lil girl has almost found her home so many times. She is the last of Eve’s kittens born 7/31 and in fact the last out of any born from Eve because I found out through this little one that Eve carried her father’s genetics which carried cherry eye. So Eve (who was the last of my cats who carried Rebecca’s line) was spayed and cherry eye will no longer be in the realm of real possibility with any of my cats. But once fixed surgically, cherry eye will not recur, so I am confident in the health of this little one. I want to find her a good place with people who can give her the attention she must have!
