Congratulations to Olivia Bodner and her lovely 8 year old gelding Nil Phet, who were not only the The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program high point winners both days at the SFP-CDS Annual Show, but also the CDS JR/YR Finals 18-21 First Level winners with an amazing score of 69.028!!

We are offering a daily The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program Highpoint ribbon and prize at the SFP Chapter show at Woodside, and also scores are eligible towards the Thoroughbred Sporthorse Challenge.

Exciting news down south!!

CARMA is proud to announce that this year its annual holiday event, the Thoroughbred Classic Horse Show (TCHS), will be partnering with the Michael Nyuis Foundation (MNF) to present the MNF Charity Horse Show & Christmas Market: Featuring the Thoroughbred Classic December 5-8, 2024 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank.

Proceeds from the show supports funding for two non-profit organizations: CARMA and the Michael Nyuis Foundation.

Announcing a judge change - The western and english flat classes on Saturday will be judged by Heather Corfee. Heather is CSHA western and english judge, and we are pleased to welcome her back!
We are currently monitoring the weather and will make adjustments as necessary. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we may need to delay or cancel some classes on Saturday. If we are unable to run the division classes or the Medal or MiniPrix on Saturday they will go on Sunday.

We are very proud to partner with CANTER California for our Racehorse Restart Challenge - special classes and high point for horses that raced in 2023 or 2024.
CANTER provides a listing service for horses on the track, as well as an adoption program for horses in various stages of training.

Class fees are $35, however we are offering an early registration discount of $30/class through March!

Some new things for 2024:

- The Racehorse Restart Challenge: A show highpoint with prize cooler for horses that raced in 2023 or 2024. Special, low-stress classes with reduced entry fee.

- Jumper Jackpot - $5 from every entry goes to the winner!

- Stall Decorating Contest, Derby themes encouraged!

- Classes restricted to Juniors and Amateurs

- Classes restricted to horses registered with the The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program

- Double points for the Thoroughbred Sporthorse Challenge in hunter and jumper divisions

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Thoroughbred Sporthorse Challenge Awards Reception at Golden Gate Fields this weekend! It was a great day to see where many of our horses once ran, celebrate our 2023 award recipients and supporters, and look forward to the coming show year.
