A few days ago we got a call asking us if we could help with a puppy because it was going to be killed as it couldn't be sold. How do we say no to that?
When the volunteer went to pick her up, she was not alone, two other puppies were also in need, all in a box dying of thirst. It's impossible to walk away and just save one, so we took them all to safety, but it now leaves us in a difficult position.
The puppies need to be treated for parasites, vaccinated and chipped. One also has an eye infection so will need to be treated by a vet. Plus we need to cover travel and kennel costs. The puppies are only 6 weeks old yet terrified, it makes us so angry that people are out there doing this to innocent little dogs.
