Welcome to Our new page!

As most of you know, we were hacked back in March. We have been trying to work with Facebook for MONTHS to get our account back and we have finally just decided to create a new page. We have several events and other fun things going on that we are excited to share with us!

It makes us sad that we have to start over from scratch. All of our content is unavailable for us to move over here. Help us rebuild so we can continue saving animals.

How can this senior love bug still be looking for his forever home?????

Through no fault of his own, Digger is in need of a new foster home. Sadly, Digger had a harrowing beginning in life. He was abandoned long with his doggy brother, neighborhood dogs attacked him, awful ppl in the neighborhood shot at him. He saw his buddy get adopted, being left with an unsure future. FFRNYC couldn’t let that happen, we stepped in and welcomed him.

He is living his best life with an amazing foster family. He’s now enjoying the comfort of a warm bed and loves all of the attention he’s getting! He’s very calm and loves everyone. He does better with smaller dogs. Like any senior, both two legged and four legged, he is set in his ways but is a total love.

The best family for Digger, is one who wants a low key pup. An older family looking for a couch potato to cuddle with. A pup who will provide love and companionship. A pup who enjoys peaceful walks among nature. An older pup to spend quiet days, slow walks and nights filled with just chilling and cuddling. His current foster family says Digger is one of the calmest pups they’ve seen. He loves to relax in the sunroom, living room, out in the yard or just keeping his humans company. Enjoying his best life. What more can a 9 yr old wish for?

Check out Big Handsome! This recent interaction gives us hope! His OFFICIAL training begins TWO WEEKS from today. His trainer will be working with him on many things, including getting him to at least be neutral when around other animals. We are SO hopeful after we saw this picture!

We are still trying to raise all the funds to cover the training. We just know this is what he needs to gain the confidence he needs to thrive in a Furever home!
