Based on popular demand, we are excited to be adding a 2 and 3 week basic obedience board and train program! The programs will focus on sit, down, stay, off, ‘place’, crate training (for puppies), leash manners and a reliable recall (increased the distance and duration) !!

We have spent the last 15 years working with dog aggression and reactivity + sport and competition dog work (IGP and AKC OB) and are so VERY excited to be adding these programs ❤️

For many years unleashed has been a significant training resource in dog aggression and reactivity for many dog owners and rescues across the country. It’s part of our passion and large reason to why we exist - we FIX dogs where others can’t!

Meet Roxy, she came to us with severe dog aggression and leash reactivity. Her owner had adopted her several months prior and had been to a handful of trainers who told her there was no way to help what Roxy had couldn’t be fixed.

As a last resort, Roxy’s owner went back to the rescue for help - although not close, they recommended us, Unleashed

Well, about 13 days in to her board and train, not only were we able to help Roxy get past her aggression and reactivity issues, we even got her comfortable enough to PLAY WITH OTHER DOGS….

Don’t believe everyone who says they are a trainer - experience and consistent successful results are what you should be looking for ❤️

Who we are..

With over 25 years of combined experience, our private in-home boarding is the way to go! We grew up with dogs, Boxers and Boston Terriers and both in the boarding and pet care industry. We both also have backgrounds in dog training; specifically working with fear, anxiety and reactivity as well as many years of rescue and rehabilitation work. Unleashed was designed and created by lifelong dog lovers and animal advocates!

Darren is a founder of a national Boxer rescue (Across America Boxer Rescue), active AKC obedience competitor and certified schutzhund Helper. Hayley is also an active AKC obedience competitor and trained behaviorist who works with reactive and non-social dogs to help them balance their emotion/anxiety with appropriate ways to cope and behave harmoniously with other dogs and people.

Our home “Unleashed” is customized for dogs and dog boarding. Not only do we have a beautiful climate-controlled kennel with state-of-the-art custom and comfortable kennels, we also boast over 1.25 acres of play space. We offer 2 plays yards for nonsocial, socially challenged and/or small play groups (each 1,500 sqft in size) as well as a 1-acre yard for those looking to endlessly run, play with other dogs and burn off that extra energy! We place dogs in playgroups with others of like temperament and size to keep the positive energy high and engageful play going!

Here at Unleashed, we welcome all social and non-social dogs of at least 5 months of age (We do make some exceptions based on circumstances) that have their Bordetella, Distemper and Rabies vaccinations and a negative F***l exam (within the past 12 months)(No exceptions). Unlike most of the stream-lined corporate facilities, we do not require your pets to be spayed or neutered.
