Finally got my pack of brats outside yesterday. And I very nearly lost the plot. I spent a fair bit of time locating all the tools I’d need to sort out the electric fence and then a good couple of hours setting it all up.

Well, I’m glad we put this silage feed out yesterday and not today; my Fladen suit is still drying off and has left a massive puddle in the porch! 🤣 I even left half of my Muttley Crew at home, as the inside of my pick up (when full of sheep feed) only has space for 2...I didn’t think they’d enjoy being battered by the never-ending deluge so Ace and Gem got the short straw, and BB and Nan took the day off.

Just a wee snap of two fluffy pals, Claudia and Lili Ann, enjoying the last light of the day as the sun begins to set. This wasn’t the easiest photo I’ve ever taken as my wee bestie, Fraoch, was using me as a scratching post which then gave her mum the incentive to plod over for some attention too.

2022 has gifted us a gorgeous dun bull calf from my favourite girl and old fella, Erchie, and I am just delighted to see her become a proud and doting mother again. She’s completely obsessed with her little lad, rightly so! … and I love that she trusts me enough to take her new baby right up to greet me. I had just spied another new arrival when they came racing over to my pick up and there’s no way I could resist a wee cuddle with my favourite girl and her fuzzy bundle of joy. It was just what the she needed after a manic weekend in the lambing shed. Still heaps of wicked woollies left to go so I’m sure I’ll be stopping by for more coo therapy in the weeks to come. Don’t worry TeePee, I will bring all the snacks you demand. You are my favourite rascal after all.
