The International Day of Forests🌳🌸
The International Day of Forests is celebrated on the 21st of March and the theme for 2023 is “Forests and Health”.
Mankind has long forgotten that they are in fact a part and parcel of nature. Instead, human try to take over nature and we have reached a stage where these manmade “acts of violence” against nature are being reciprocated towards the criminals themselves by the nature. Thus, it is evident that forests’ health is at risk now. Simply put, deforestation readily impact and distort the balance, the balance in which the nature itself hangs on. Eradicating or disturbing the forest cover leads into water scarcity, toxic air to breathe, and reduced quality of life. Not to mention that by harming forests we threaten habitats of many different species. In that light, discovering this linkage and securing the bond of human with the forests is vital at this stage.
