Some of our new friends to this page may have been confused by the updated profile picture. (From the 4th of July picture to me with my wings.) This page is named after me, “Kona The Love Sponge”, but I earned my Angel wings nearly four years ago. That’s why the page is now called “Kona The Love Sponge, From The Great Beyond.” I have a great Wi-Fi from Heaven, and check in daily with Mom and the pack. Woofs! Our arrival at work caused a parking lot commotion 🙌🏻😀 Everyone was waving and overjoyed to see us. We certainly made their day on this 1st day of August. Hope you all are having an awesome start to the new month ✨🐶 KENZO & KB

Woofs! Our started with a visit to mom’s garden 🪴 where we couldn’t resist checking out her lovely tomato plant 🍅 It seems like mom’s green thumb is paying off as she’s been harvesting a bunch of juicy tomatoes. However she noticed that some mischievous bubblers have been having their share of the leaves and were definitely not to blame 😀🐶 We we’re on our best behavior and just sniffed around.
Mom has a great plan to protect her future garden treasures- a new raised planter 🙌🏻 We can’t wait to see the new planter, and we promise to be on guard to keep it safe 🪴😀 Happy Gardening 🐶 KB & KENZO

Reser: Today marks 4 months since you went on ahead to wait for me at the bridge. Some days it feels like forever ago—the days are long and I miss you so very much. It’s not not the same without you here by my side. And sometimes it feels like just yesterday and I remember it’s only been a few months and that grief is still very real. I appreciate that it somehow gives me permission to feel the way I do. Sometimes things feel extra hard, and I remember how recent this all was, and I can cut myself a little slack. Walter and I miss you, buddy. I miss your animated greetings, always with a stuffy or your pillow in your mouth. We miss your frog-legged splat, the way you always come over to offer your head for an ear scratchie, and your exuberance for life. It’s just not the same without you. 💔
