This handsome boy, Bourbon, is still looking for his forever home. 🧡
Applications for him are currently on hold while I review current ones.

He is such a delightful, fun-spirited puppy with a lot of natural engagement. There's a lot of wonderful things I have to say about him, and I can't say that my feelings are hurt that I have some additional time with him. With that being said, I hope to find him an incredible family that want to capitalize on all of the love and attention that he has to offer.

Some of you may already figured it out, but here is my keeper from the Boozy Bunch litter. This is Bijou! 💚

I am still deciding on her new call name, but that doesn't make me any less excited. Kimber and I had many long conversations about what I was hoping she might give me from this litter. She was gracious enough to provide. I am very much looking forward to this little showstopper's future in a great many things.

Here is the charming Banshee, new name still pending! 💛

I am excited to say that this lovely little boy will be staying local. He's going to be living a wonderful life with some of my very best friends, as well as adored by his new human siblings and fellow spaniel, Link. Banshee is our most relaxed puppy from this litter, and I think he will make for an excellent family companion as he grows.

He will be boarding with me for a little bit of extra time, but he frequently gets to enjoy the company of his family while we knock out those extra few weeks. I'm glad for the extra time with him, too!

Bazooka, now Blitz, will be staying here.

I am hoping to work with him as a work and show prospect. I have continually been impressed with his confidence, tenacity, drive, and appearance. He's a very handsome, promising boy and a whole lot of dog for his age. If I happen upon the perfect fit for him, I will let him go to the right home but am otherwise thrilled to have him here. I am very excited about his potential.

Silas, formerly Basil, is headed off to his new home in Oregon!

This little boy is the perfect blend of sassy and sweet, confidence and curiosity, and already trusts that he is capable of just about anything. He is sure to bring a lifetime of joy and shenanigans to his new home; he got started before they could even step foot out of the house.

It is so clear that he is already surrounded by mountains of love and support, having a wonderful crew to welcome him to his new life today!

I know I announced Clover's departure yesterday, but like a goober, I forgot to ask for a quick family photo before she was onto her big new adventure. Thank you for sending me some!

It is always such a bittersweet moment when the door closes behind me and I fully realize that a puppy is moving on to their forever home. There is so much joy and wonder, followed by a quiet moment of solitude. Each and every time, I reflect with fondness on why I do this. Saying farewell to a puppy is one of the harder journeys I continue to take, but I am so thankful for the opportunity to share such an amazing breed with people that often share in the same passions that I do. The dogs make it worth it, but so do the people.

Miss Bellini was the first puppy of this litter to take the big leap forward into her new life today. While I already miss her dearly and have shed a few tears, I know she is going to enjoy such an loving, adventure-filled life in her new home. She is in wonderful hands, and I couldn't be more excited about where and what she will be doing in the future.

Thank you to those that continue to read my rambling, I'm pretty sentimental when it comes right down to it.

Bellini (now Clover) says sit tight, photos are coming!

I've got a lot of photos to finish editing tonight and tomorrow, so please bare with me. My old girl, Aspen, is also currently occupying my lap and making the process take longer. What we do for our dogs, right? 🥹

I thought I'd share this adorable little winking shot of this gorgeous girl to hold us all over, though. It's so hard to think that two of these precious little puppies will be leaving the nest tomorrow. My heart feels so very full and happy for their people, but there's a tinge of sadness knowing this will be see ya later.

Bourbon and Basil (now Silas) had another adventure yesterday. The rest of the puppies also got to come along, but they rode in the Ruffland in the back. Besides these two getting to share a snack, we also made a pit stop at the park so the entire gang could people watch from the safety of my vehicle.

The puppies had their first baths in the big kid tub today, which meant some new textures, visuals, and sounds. They've been rinsed off before, but it was a little bit of a different experience in the downstairs sink where they're more familiar.

Here's how everyone did:

Bellini 🩷 My fearless warrior, Belli went first and got us off to a great start. She felt comfortable enough to sit the entire time and let me poke and prod at her. A few sneaky kisses even got in there.

Bourbon 🧡 My favorite puppy to bathe today! He did so well that he actually kept rolling over onto his back to have a true spa day experience (sounds like his dad). He was all in on the paw rubs, warm soak, and cuddle sesh.

Banshee 💛 Bath time was not his favorite but, in his defense, he was the dirtiest. He'd plopped down somewhere he probably shouldn't have, so I had to do a bit more fussing over him. He settled nicely after some encouragement from me.

Bijou 💚 Calm and collected, she made no fuss so long as I let her be physically touching me during the bath. A couple pets and a head rest later, she was practically dozing off under the warm water.

Bazooka 🩵 No complaints here. It was all kisses and puppy loving here. He was completely oblivious to most of the bath so long as I let him give me smooches.

Basil 🖤 We weren't quite sure whether bath time was party or jungle gym time. He did insist on having at least one paw holding onto my arm most of his bath. Lots of kisses from our resident smiley dog, for sure!

Another coffee outing, this time with Bazooka and Bijou!

I've had an absolutely awful illness for the last week or so, so some of our outside-the-home socialization plans took a bit of a hit. It's important to me to be transparent, so I know we are just a little behind on what I was able to do with the previous litter due to my fever and chills. With that said, we are going to be working on fitting as much as we possibly can in with what time remains!

The puppies thankfully haven't been too phased. This is such a confident litter overall. Each puppy shows a good balance of healthy curiosity and caution, although some may teeter every so slightly in one direction over the other.

We've done our very best to try and make up for my being sick with a few visitors and other experiences. Today, these two got to come with me to meet several new friends on an office visit and adjust to rougher terrain for the car.

One easy method of socialization that I like to do with the puppies is coffee runs. When puppies are young, it is crucial to introduce them to the world while also keeping them safe before being fully vaccinated.

I will usually let two sit up front with me, rotating to different puppies each time we go, and head to our nearest spot. The puppies get to see and hear all sorts of things, while passively gaining important experiences in a low-pressure setting.

They get used to being in the car at a young age, dealing with the different sensations of moving and all those odd sounds that can come with. Our wonderful baristas are also always happy to wave at and speak to the puppies, allowing them some distance to observe all sorts of different people without the pressure of being encircled or pawed at.

At this age, I will also let them have a few licks out of their very first pup cups. I let them have a small portion, then offer the rest to mama or one of the other adult dogs once we are home. This was Banshee and Bellini's first, I think they approved!
