My urban farm does microgreen harvesting every , one of my favorite days! I can listen to podcasts and tenderly harvest the fruits of my labour .. . or should I say the VEGETABLES of my labour ;) (ba-da-bing!) I hope you at least smiled at that joke! (Don't worry I won't quit my day job) 😅 I'm off to get ready to supply another local small business! One of the coolest things about becoming an entrepreneur is how you eventually connect with other entrepreneurs and become integrated in something bigger than you were ever part of before! I like to use the simple expression you might recall from the old KD commercials, do you remember!? There was a teenager eating boxed KD right from the pot on the stove and they turned yellow, even glowing!! And then the phrase: "you are what you eat!" "We're baaaaaaack" 🌱 Hey everyone! What do we think about the new look? 👀🔥 I love it!! I figured with the release of the new branding I would take the time to do a brief introduction. I kept the post short and sweet but this caption is for anyone curious about the deets 😏. First quickly just going to repeat that deliveries will no longer be taking place on Saturdays! This day has proven to be challenging for both mine and customers schedule and so we are keeping our business within the work week! As early as next Friday the 15th this new schedule will take place! I did briefly introduce myself on page 2 and here we go again, my name is Tia, and im a recent single mom that started this business to take care of us! The "we" im always referring to is myself and my 2 girls. They really only offer taste testing and some "supervision", otherwise it's all me! I take care of all the planting and growing, harvest and packaging and delivering and all the social media! It's been one of the most fun learned curves I've ever been on and I'm grateful I found an apportunity that resonates with me personally and my values! Being able to introduce self sufficiency practices and show my girls from an early age how to take care of ourselves and be part of the community in a way that serves and helps others is a blessing!
