A 💥HUGE💥 mega thank you and congratulations to all horse and rider teams that competed at this years Barrel Bash 2024 hosted by the amazing crew at Hot 2 Trot Stables in Odessa. Once again they put on a hell of a show this weekend. From the grounds being kept so tidy, the ring crew(barrel setters, tractor drags) and announcers everything was top notch.
I don’t think people realize the manpower and hours needed to put on a top show, and these guys make it look flawless. 👍💪

First saddle assessment of 2024…. Which unfortunately was a twisted and broken tree. I will be taking this apart very soon to see the exact damage. This saddle had been used last month and the owner was unaware. A perfect example to get your saddle checked! #saddlefittersofinstagram #saddlery #saddlefitter #saddleassessmentforequinebodyworkers

3rd time long-lining! There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a step back and starting over. My own personal horse Ben, has not been ridden in a year (ok I popped on him maybe 3-4x/20 min and he’s had a few short rides with another rider to get a feel how’s he’s recovering). It was a difficult decision but the right one. His body needed to heal and recover and build up his topline. I also need work 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. Then we will fit for a saddle once he is more comfortable and we are ready. You owe them the time off they need. #equinerehab #equinerehabilitation
