Fish Essentials was established in 2009 as a humble family run company with a passion for fish. Founder Chris Englezou, draws from a background in biological science with a particular interest in fish nutrition and ichthyology. The versatility of being able to feed benthic (bottom-dwelling) species like whilst simultaneously allowing mid-water species like these to feed on the suspended particles is another reason why is fantastic. Have you tried Naturekind® yet?

Really proud to have been able to support Elliott from The Fish Barn - Suppliers of Tropical Fish in his effort to supply his customers with a sustainable, tank bred source of this amazing, but critically endangered Tropheus species. Well done!!
Well today was the day I braved something.... I’ve made a bit of a timing error and pulled out eggs, a few newly hatched young, in which I feel confident in raising artificially. However, the 3rd female gave me 4 young fish! These I will raise separately.
I have finally managed to breed our (Unfortunately wild caught) Critically endangered Tropheus moori Murago Tanzania!!!!!
It been a long time coming and lots of you have shared my enthusiasm about breeding them, but today is the day I’ll be raising quite a lot of young!
Mostly down to a diet of Naturekind advanced fish food by C.E. Fish Essentials which can be purchased in store!
