Ruff Runners is the first professional dog walking service in the Falkland Islands, operating in Stanley. We hereby distinguish between 4 types of walks:
1.

We offer a range of services which include dog walking or dog running! The Lone Wolf - this would suit a dog which does not like to be walked with other dogs (£15.00/hour)
2. The Social Mutts - this would suit a dog who loves interacting with other dogs whilst out on a walk (£10.50/hour/dog)
3. The Pack - this would a group of dogs who live together and would like to be walked together (£8.00/hour
/dog) (no new Runners after MAY22)
4. The Quarantinee - if your dog is quarantining with you and needs walking (£15.00/hour)
We also offer locally sourced dog treats such as dehydrated upland goose breast and trout fillets. For enquiries please phone, message or email us :)

If the weather forecast is to be believed then we most likely won’t be operating tomorrow 😅
A number of doggos were already moved to today’s walks or have been moved to Wednesday’s. I’ll be in touch with the rest should the walks fall through tomorrow.

TGIF!! Always nice to end the week with Collie Club! Today we had two subs in the Club: Ruby and Uma! 😍
I think the collies enjoyed chasing Uma, and Ruby in turn enjoyed chasing the collies (although she couldn’t quite keep up - little legs…🤣). In fact, there was a moment where Ruby was so excited she was shrieking whilst running after them! I believe she was almost as excited as Gonz was when he was watching the Olympic pole vault comp this year…over and over…and then in slow-motion…🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, I’m sure everyone is ready for a snooze, I know I am! Have a great weekend Runners!! 😎

Goodbye Keith! 🥲
After 23 months of dog walks Keith and his wife Sue are heading back to the UK! Keith has been a great addition to our little team and he will be missed, especially on these snowy days! 😉
Keith wants to thank all the owners and their dogs for everything, even those that weren’t that well behaved all the time (they know who they are 😂 - the Dogs obviously!). (His words not mine folks! 🤣)
Keith is also a man of stats and kept track of the following, during his 23 months walking he has:
A) completed 977 Dog Walks;
B ) walked 86 Different Dogs;
C ) covered 3621 miles! 😱
We all can’t thank you enough Keith, it has been a pleasure. Enjoy your last week in the Islands and give your dog a big hug from when you get home!

Hello Runners! The roads are white again this morning so, although I’m getting ready to head out, we may not get very far in Kitty😺. Especially the morning walks will likely not go ahead. My apologies for this, Kitty is a p***y! I think I might name the next one Moose🫎 so we will be able to head out in all conditions…

🪿🦆 GOOSE TREATS ARE BACK! 🦆🪿
It is so nice to be able to produce and share these again with everyone! We took a long break away from the local goose supply after bird flu hit the Islands, but we now have approval to use one of our favourite meat supplies once again!
Please note that these dehydrated goose pieces are also baked at 180C for 15 minutes in order to minimise the risk of any poultry nasties 💪🏼
And so, we now have a large number of portions available already at £6,50 each! Woohoo!
