Ruff Runners Ruff Runners is the first professional dog walking service in the Falkland Islands, operating in Stanley. We hereby distinguish between 4 types of walks:

1.

We offer a range of services which include dog walking or dog running! The Lone Wolf - this would suit a dog which does not like to be walked with other dogs (£15.00/hour)
2. The Social Mutts - this would suit a dog who loves interacting with other dogs whilst out on a walk (£10.50/hour/dog)
3. The Pack - this would a group of dogs who live together and would like to be walked together (£8.00/hour

/dog) (no new Runners after MAY22)
4. The Quarantinee - if your dog is quarantining with you and needs walking (£15.00/hour)

We also offer locally sourced dog treats such as dehydrated upland goose breast and trout fillets. For enquiries please phone, message or email us :)

A very special day to celebrate modern awareness around mental health and those who have suffered/are suffering. I am very glad that here in the Falkland Islands there is a growing community of professionals who are able to help people. ❤️

However, my advice: Get a dog. Now! 😉

Dearest Gentle Runners (),

It has reached this dogwalker’s always vigilant ear that tomorrow marks that most esteemed of local traditions - Peat Cutting Monday. And while we are often known for our indefatigable spirit, it appears even the most dedicated dogwalker must occasionally rest. As such, Mr. Busbridgerton, ever the thoughtful proprietor, has decided that there shall be no exertions on the morrow, allowing him to lay aside his trainers and indulge in well-deserved repose.

One might, however, suggest that you take this rare opportunity to acquaint yourselves with the notion of walking - yes, walking - your faithful canine companions, as one imagines they, too, might appreciate a slower pace for once.

❤️🐕🥳Happy Birthday Ruff Runners! 🥳🐕❤️

I can’t quite believe we have made it to four years already - even with last week having been our busiest week ever! 😵‍💫 And I also can’t thank everyone enough for their support, the Runners, Deputies and friends & fam - THANK YOU!

But the biggest shout out needs to go to the two Runners who have really helped me and a lot of other doggos come to grips with the group walks. They seemingly take it all in their stride but they are the ones to whom new dogs are introduced, they are the ones having to share all of their walks AND they are the first ones to get bumped off if the walks are full. Absolutely stellar dogs if I say so myself and they deserve nothing but love and cuddles. Paddie and Lara, you are simply the best! ❤️❤️

🐕❤️🥕Carrot snacks for dogs! 🥕❤️🐕

Living where we do I feel it is so important to shop and eat locally! Producing local dog treats is a small part of that journey but there are other places to find local substitutes for your dog’s needs 🙂

The wonderfully Happy Farmers have just brought some fresh, locally grown carrots into town and I have already been down to buy myself a big bag of them (and at a scandalously bargainous price - that’s a new word 👈🏼😆 - I might add!) for myself AND for my doggos!!

For Pads and Lara I won’t even wash the buggers but will be mindful not to give them too big a piece so they don’t choke on it 😉 everyone knows carrots are good for you and they are good for your dog too! 🥳
