Update on our sweet Max! As you may remember, Max appeared a few weeks ago on my front steps. He was not thriving on the streets so we took him in. We got him basic medical care. Max was accepted at the Cat Cafe today where he will be in safe hands until he finds the perfect home. Good luck Max, you will be in out thoughts and prayers ;)

Welcome to this page, Animals of Bed Stuy for Adoption which is aimed at creating a community of compassion, hope and love for animals. I have always been an animal person! However, when I moved to Bed Stuy, I was struck one day, when I saw someone throwing rocks at Lucky, this gorgeous street cat who I now call my own. I was also horrified to see just how many stray animals there are. I'd like to help animals like Lucky and others, escape to a safe haven where they are cherished and loved. I'll see what I can do here and my ultimate goal is to build a sanctuary that can hold, house, nurture and comfort animals until they find stable and loving homes. Thank you for your support!!

Happy Monday! Today, I'd like to introduce you to Nermal the community cat. With her bright green eyes and gentle nature, she is eager for affection yet shy at the same time. She loves jumping into my lap and saying hello. Community cats can have it rough, consider helping Nermal she would enjoy a stable home life and does have social skills!

Meet Max! Max appeared on my front door this morning. I noticed that his front leg was hurt he coudn't jump. He is currently getting veterinary attention at the vet but will be back and I'd love to find a home for him. He is a blue eyed, sweet guy that deserves a wonderful home.
