The freedom from fear and distress can fundamentally be brought down into smaller categories where you can give your canine support of treatment on individual ailments that may be in the environment that could cause distress as leading experts say an increase in stress in canines can increase adverse behavioural reactions in your canine. The proof is in the pudding one of for little girls so clever using the Oui Oui patch grass for a little twinkle our pups are 3 weeks old and as we've always said dogs have an innate ability to toilet on grass,

This can be achieved by stimulating the senses such as the feeling, touch, smell and sound of the natural environment where they can express their natural behaviours.
This coincides with our values, is the best advocate for the five freedoms when it comes to toilet training by supporting pet owners to give their puppies the opportunity to express themselves in a way that they would in the wild.
Biodegradable, compostable or you can put to use in other gardening resources, for instance we filled a patch in our grass when woody decided to remodel a section in the gardens grass. The possibilities of the Oui Oui patch is endless and in our opinion an asset to toilet training and a more economic friendly alternative to in house toileting areas.

The time has came again for toilet training our tiny balls of fur,we start our toilet training at 3 weeks old. With City Doggo London] help, we're able to do this naturally and safely. We've always said dogs have an innate ability to toilet on grass.

Freedom to express normal behaviour.

when in your care it is of the utmost importance to ensure that every facet of daily life for the animal is one of “normal” behaviours, e.g making sure that animal has significant space to exercise and stretch all limbs, run, jump and play. This is a canine’s right to express themselves in a way that is natural for them . This ensuring that the animals are exercised and walked regularly . All in all, the whole effect is to enable the animal to exhibit natural behaviours, and for owners to think of there fur-babies in a holistic and animal centred way.

Freedom from pain, injury, or disease.

when an animal is in your care having the knowledge and the rapid response to quickly diagnose an animal that is exhibiting or showing illness or distress and getting them the treatment they need to combat whatever the issue is. Making sure the animals are vaccinated to ensure they are protected against harmful illness or diseases. Monitoring the animals to ensure the health and wellbeing, providing a service that can deal with health checks and testing such as a veterinarian practice and administering the medication that the veterinarian may prescribe for the animal and administering any medications the animal may be on already like flea & worming medication, prevention is always better than the cure. Learning how to take your animals vital signs is a great place to start. Heart rate, respiratory rate, capillary refill, toileting habits are all great knowledge points for owners to learn.

Freedom from discomfort.

this is a very important action. When you think of supporting an animals comfort this means taking everything into consideration, providing an environment that is habitable for the animal or animals to live in comfort. An environment that is suited to that specific animal, and that has the animal’s own comforts bedding, ventilation in all types of weather, temperature controlled, heating for when it’s cold 🥶 , fans for when it’s hot 🥵 this freedom interlocks with all the other freedoms it supports mental health, diet, wellbeing, recovery. It is vital that our animals have the freedom from discomfort.

Ready access to fresh water and a sufficient diet to maintain health and vigour. There are different standards/specifications for different animals to take into consideration alongside the varying stages of age and health. For instance, adult animals and juvenile/infant require an altered diet, also pregnant or nursing animals require different scheduled feeding and some animals may require a medically specified diet.
