I am officially open and booking appointments for both wellness and sick pets. Thank you all for your support with this new endeavor as I become a practice owner ☺️. I hope to see you and your pets soon at the brick and mortar clinic. I am still available for in-home euthanasias with a more limited travel radius. “How do I know when it’s time?”

This is one of the hardest questions we have to answer as pet owners. There is no perfect time, but rather more of a grey area where euthanasia is appropriate to take away unnecessary suffering. Assessing quality of life can guide our decision. Here is a helpful subjective assessment from The Ohio State’s Veterinary School. When more than 1 party are involved in making the decision to euthanize, I recommend that each member fill out the form and have an open discussion about quality of life. ❤️
