We’ve restocked at ! We only had enough grown for four 1/2 lb boxes but are back on track with growing. We’ll have plenty more mushrooms in no time.
For now, we have a couple of mixed boxes with chestnuts, Lion’s Mane, and Grey Dove Oysters.

🌰 Chestnut mushrooms have a slightly nutty taste with a firm texture. They’re great in stews or soups because they won’t disintegrate into mush with long cooking times.

🤷🏻♀️ Our compost will be happy. Unfortunately, due to the power outage, we lost 95% of our mushrooms. Miraculously, we had some Lion’s Mane thrive and were ordered today!
also lost power for a few days so we had to throw out our stock up there as well.
The Salty Seed is back open and we’ll restock our mushrooms as soon as we have some grown!
We’re fortunate to only have lost power for a day and a half and hope you are all doing well.
We’re grateful to every person who has played their part in this disaster to help the community: line crewmen, restaurant employees, gas station employees, friendly neighbors, and gracious strangers.

There’s nothing quite like local businesses supporting each other! Today, we made our first sale to the newly re-opened Weaver's BBQ who are building a restaurant in the heart of Dayton. After over a year and a half of perfecting our growing, we finally feel ready to start supplying restaurants!
After that, we decided to go to Backwater Farm to pick their freshly grown blueberries! (Who also buy our mushrooms)
