Best in Show – Sonny (Emily Parkin) who will win a hand painted portrait by artist Nicola Green. Nicola is an amazing artist who uses a range of medium in a realistic, photographic style.

Rowan has recently offered free photography tips sessions on Instagram so well worth following her for tips!

Bella – (Gemma Marsh) has won an amazing giftbag of goodies from Mike Smith https://www.pigletandme.uk/. Such a generous and kind guy who shares on the site how rescue dogs can rescue us just as much as we rescue them.


Rachel at Bradway Pet Shop kindly gifted a huge stockpile of doggy treats! And as this as such a hugely generous donation, it will be shared with a few randomly selected winners from the remaining entries - Hurray!!!

The kind hearted Joy Ellen (Pippa and Lucy) asked not to be included in the prize giving so as a thank you to her I’ll add a special note here to say thank you and well done! We’re delighted to announce that the first Greenhill Virtual Dog Show 2021 is Open!
The competition is intended to be fun, with the main purpose of fundraising to support the Greenhill Christmas activities 2021, Greenhill School and Greenhill Library.
Please kindly donate the £2 entry fee (Per dog, per category) to the Paypal Pool below which has been especially set up to support the fundraising plans for the community events in 2021. Please upload a photo of your dog with the category you wish to enter them for. When paying via Paypal, please re-confirm the category you wish to enter them for with their/your name so we can quickly match up entries and owners.

A few notes on the competition and safety:
🐾 The competition is to raise funds FOR Greenhill, you are welcome to join the competition if you live outside of the Greenhill area. With this in mind, we would ask that if you are concerned about someone identifying your dog, please do not include their name and certainly no address/identifiable elements in your photo.
🐾 The competition is intended to bring cheer – and as such, entry is optional! If you feel this competition is not right for you, please do not enter. The Competition is open to the public to allow us to raise awareness of our fundraising aims and allow for participants to get as many likes as possible.
🐾 All dogs are beautiful, pedigree or not – we will not be using this as a way of deciding who wins the Best in Show competition.

We're super excited about this competition and prize details will follow shortly! Please note that the page is run by volunteers and we are will be juggling this competition whilst working, home-schooling and generally juggling our crazy lives!

This event has been organised as part of a year-wide fundraising plan to raise money for Christmas 2021, building on the success of events organised by the fantastic team of volunteers and local businesses who helped during those difficult times.

Funds raised will used towards plans for a fantastic Greehill Xmas community event.

🐶WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?🐶
Simply send us your photos of your pooches and puppies - you could win a top prize (trust me the prize is truly unique and amazing and worth much more than £2!)

Once you've paid the entry fee, send us your photo(s). These will be uploaded to the relevant album on our page - make sure you share them around your family and friends as the winner in each category will be the one with the most likes!

🐶HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?🐶
It's just £2 a go to enter a photo of your dog for each category.

There are a number of different categories and you can enter once per category but as many categories as you wish!

Each category winner will receive a special rosette and certificate. Each category winner will be entered into a prize for Best in show and Reserve in Show.

Please read the Terms and Conditions before entering:
1. You must enter your own pet!
2. All entries must be added with their name for easy identification
3. It is £2 per dog, per category to enter.
4. The competition is open until midnight 28th February 2021.
5. By submitting your entry you are agreeing that we will have a non-exclusive licence to keep and use your photograph in the show and for promotional activities (It’s a local group –rest assured, we won’t be using on the side of a bus)
6. The winner in each category will be the one that has received the greatest number of Facebook “likes”. In the event of a tie, group admin will have the deciding vote.
7. Prize winners will be contacted by Facebook Messenger to arrange collection of the prizes.
8. All prizes are subject to availability and are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is available or offered.
9. The decision of Admin regarding any aspect of the show is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
10. Admin accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault including but not limited to technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure (but we really hope this doesn’t happen!)
