We got a really lovely detailed show report complementing every aspect of Pearl 💕
No amount of words can describe how perfect she is

Attractive mature lady, feminine and of very pleasing type. Good size to long body which is rectangular in shape and of very good weight and substance, firm and muscular with solid underlying boning, square rump, deep rounded chest and sturdy well-shaped legs ending in large round paws with snowshoes. Head is slightly longer than wide, high cheeks are quite well filled and round, square muzzle feels quite strong. Large broad-based ears are of good shape, spaced well apart yet held high in an alert stance, good inner furnishings and lynx-like tips. Large warm hazel yellow eyes are round in shape and held well open, set wide apart and slightly obliquely to give typical expression. Gentle concave curve in profile line, chin is level and of quite good depth. Coat is of good length with top-coat flowing over a fair amount of soft woolly undercoat, resilient texture evident along her back, small ruff frames face, some shirtfront, tail is quite well furnished. Classic Tortie Tabby pattern in dark slate blue mingled with rich medium cream contrasts against a clear silver ground, indistinct pattern on back, very blurred oysters on flanks and blurred "butterfly" motif across shoulders, broken bracelets on legs, "M" and scarab and attractive facial markings. Shown in very good condition, well presented with a healthy sheen to her coat. Tail is of good shape and reaches almost to shoulder-blades to just about balance. A little shy at first, very good-natured girl and easy to handle.

A new year with new beginnings

What is a polydactyl Maine C**n cat?
Maine C**ns with extra digits on their paws. A polydactyl cat can have up to seven toes on each paw.

Up to 40% of the first, original Maine C**ns, were polydactyl and they are part of the pedigrees of todays Maine C**n cats.

There is no health issues associated with this, it just results in a bigger paw and heavier boning.

This is Yeti, he is polydactyl 6/6/6/6. Meaning he has 6 toes on each paw! He’s just arrived from Russia.
