With construction of the new pens,farm projects, and the kids. I was lucky to have magic come hang out with me for the summer. Happy to be back at work again and in the saddle with this good boy. Been awhile since we were together and he was great acted like there was no break at all.

I'm adding on to my horse career! The new pen construction you see from time to time will be my new area for future mustang projects. As soon as I have a pen done I'll be applying to be a tip Trainer for the Mustang Heritage Foundation and hopefully you'll be seeing a mustang in there this summer. I'm very excited. I'll be gentling and helping re-home mustangs as long as they meet their requirements. I'll still be operating horsing around services on the side ❤️

Bugs are out and they get to try out their new masks

They've been grazing down the horse yard.

Ol man was acting spicy before morning turnout. So off we went to the roundpen to work on some tasks to get that brain back in check. We don't be rude to mom.
After some side passes, backing, disengaging, few laps around the pen, change directions with body cues. We had the brain back.

Groomed by my daughter who also gave him his mash and some love.
dewormed and I got in his new sheet. Uv protection and for bugs when they come.
I like it it's super light weight and looks breathable.
Plus the color looks great on him.

Pens coming along. Marking out the lay out
Squared off my lay out. Man I struggled on the square of the round pen. Thought I knew the diagonal and it'd be easy peasy. But that last corner wasn't lining up right. Finally got it
But the rectangle of the paddock/alley was simple 🤦😆
Round pen 40x40 I use a square to mark out the area and find the center. Then I draw the circle
Paddock area is 24x60 34x60 if you count the alley. Connected to round pen.
Marked out 3 pens will be 20x24 plus shelter.
More to come need more paint to finish layout and flags to mark posts.
Hopefully this weekend we'll be getting the driver
