My training availability for the McAllen, TX area will stop June 14 and will start back up again in September.

We are well into Dock Diving Season in San Marcos, TX and then I’ll be training out of the country before school starts up.

Tip 1….this dog is the master of cuteness and therefore becomes the master of manipulation. He/she will train you so fast you won’t know what hit you!

Tip 2…they can move at the sp*ed of light when they want to! Learn how to get this dog to stay in one spot before 6 months of age!

Tip 3…they are tenacious little buggers ☝🏻The first 100 “no’s” mean absolutely nothing to the French Bulldog so just don’t use that word until you get a full on education on how to communicate with this dog! ☝🏻

Tip 4…Good luck🍀! Kidding….reach out to your local trainer to help you get on top of training before your adorable puppy trains you to go outside! Ha!

Update: Roo has found her new family and will begin training with them in the next couple weeks. 🙏💕

This happy puppy was so lucky to have a foster send her to training for a better chance of being adopted. She is in her second week of training, and we are looking for her new family to come and start learning with her!

Roo (temporary name) is approximately 6 months old and picking up training quick! She is great with people and great with other dogs! She comes with free training!! Please share her on your pages 🙏

Bravo to the dog owners that recognize the importance of training puppies at a young age BEFORE they develop problems! Shadow’s owners know exactly what they want in their pet and they are open to the learning process as her humans👊🏻💥

Fact:☝🏻Most dogs enter the shelter around the age of 1yr because that is the time that dogs are exploring and testing boundaries, just like children. If you can start imprinting your puppy with good manners right from the beginning when they are like sponges, then you have already given your dog the best chance at being your best pet!

Hopefully this can help another handler with their dog…

This is Bella, she is a wonderful pet! She has had a traumatic experience simply from an unfortunate innocent at the park and has associated the park with bad things. Us as handlers can help our dogs move through these traumas with a proper plan. Please seek the help of a professional trainer to ensure you move forward with your dog rather than backward.

Bella started out today with fearful body language that says HELP ME. She was so stressed she wouldn’t take food (she looooves food) and was pulling on the leash to get out of there. After a few walks of adding these following components, she was taking food, and thinking clearer. I took this photo to show the “relaxed” Bella chillin’ with the villain behind her.

Here are the components we added this morning…

1. Proper equipment
2. Handler confidence
3. Use of another confident canine
4. Physical exercise at the park that is traumatic

But the recovery does not stop here. Bella is going to swim today to drain the rest of her daily physical energy, so we can then target the mental exercise☝🏻

In Texas, I can’t imagine a reason to NOT teach a dog to swim. Swimming IS THE BEST WAY to exercise a dog…and children for that matter when the temperature gets into the triple digits!

I see so much aggression and so many behavior problems and it usually stems from not enough physical and mental exercise!

You wouldn’t know this but Vinny never liked the water. Look at him now☝🏻He started with a life jacket…

For all my RGV dogs!…this is a deal we haven’t seen yet at in San Marcos! Those of you that know me, know that sending your dog to Pets and Moore School for Dogs is like sending your dog to summer camp!

Your dog will swim, socialize, barn hunt and obedience train all together whenever possible. It’s a great program and I’ve taken all my RGV dogs up there to train…in fact those are my RGV dogs in the pictures!

After this program they come back with follow up lessons to help you maintain the training.

Who is this program good for? All ages, all breeds, all sizes….especially puppies over 5 months old!
