These four make such an incredible team of picking up dogs already. The drive, agility, speed and scent finding ability is amazing so happy with how Wayne and blanche are performing already at just 9 months old. P. S excuse the mucky pickup and little Dora wanting in on the photo.

It's not always fun and games with the dogs, Kevin made a miss judgement and got his leg stuck in a gate ending in serious surgery and 6 weeks cage rest. The big softy maybe just wanted cuddles on the sofa 🤣🤗

Everybodyeet Eric and Milly. I don't know how I got this far in life with out a sausage I love them that much I got two of them. Eric came first and was so brilliant I got Milly. Such great little characters and the best company.

Cannot wait to get back out on the moors especially with this machine. Such a hard hunter from the second she gets out of the kennel to the second she goes back in she gives it her all.

⭐🌟Appreciation post 🌟⭐Big Kevin the gentle giant. I can't praise this big daft lad enough even out of the shooting season he's like a best friend. So loyal and well behaved always wants to please you and you definetly will not meet a happier dog he never fails to put a smile on your face every day.

Nice to have a dog back we bred for a Kevin stud 5 weeks ago and very nice to be able to scan her in pup for her owner. Smiles all round 🐶😁

Well it's been a busy week last week getting the new whelping room in place and ready to use still alot to do though 😴. Definetly worth the effort though.

We always love to hear back from where our pups go. Look how beautiful these two are 😍 one year old today and look so sweat and innocent although we are told they have there moments of mayhem, what else can you expect from one year old labs absolute beauties couldn't be prouder of them. 🥰 V***n and Ronnie babies 👌😍

Marlon 😍 out working it may not be in the field but he's getting to experience alot of new sounds and smells on the farm. I am to excited to see him in the field towards the end of next season he's so much character and drive.

It's not just about the pups getting good food. All the dogs at Thirkleby Mill get the best food. We feed alot of raw food here to keep the dogs healthy and happy.

All the food is from the family farm where we rear all our own poultry including ducks, chickens and turkeys. The food also gets some game thrown in aswell and beef cuttings and tripe. All minced on site in our very own white hygenic room so we know exactly what they get. The dogs give us there all so the least we can do is give them our all in return.

Poor reyn is limping to the end (literally). She's give it her all this season been out every day and goes like a bloody train the legend so I can't see her missing the end, her new job role is Co pilot 🚙🐕.

It's not always fun and games. Man down 😂😂 these icy conditions caught me out. Had to fight the pack of dogs of first to get back up easier said than done.

First sprinkle of snow for us this season while sat out on the gun line so only the chosen ones were allowed out 😂. Some are steadier than other 🐕.

Well trying to get a video of the two young pups having a run out this Saturday for one drive didn't go well, birds coming from every direction 🐶🐕💪. Although you can see they like to be out with the older ones and getting them used to been in the field so next year it isn't a complete whole new thing for them and blowing there mind.

Reyn on a nice long marked retrieve in a live field maybe not the cleanest retrieve by some peoples expectations but I think this bitch is exceptional and so much pride in her and to say she is homebred 💪🐶🐕

The dogs bedrooms. All of the kennels are insulated fully even the floor is 100mm insulated but they still deserve a nice jump up bed they work there socks of for me 😁

It's not all fun and games with the dogs there's always work to be done! Washing and disenfecting there taxi out in the dark it's a cold wet job but cleanliness is next to godliness 🧼😎

Really can't praise Kevin enough. What a dog!! His first season and his confidence is growing so much every day and he is retrieving like an absolute machine. Nothing gets in his way. Super star Kevin 🌟🤣

Had a lovely day yesterday number 5 of the week, we actually got a day of mid week which was nice 😴. One of the guns was very nice and sent me a video she got on the last drive of the dogs working well after a very busy day. The dogs as always making me very proud 14 out picking here 2 of which are only 7 months old.

The reason I get no videos normally, honey on a nice water retrieve but the rest are still bringing me birds left, right and centre really am proud of the team 💪💪😊😊🐕🐕

That's a new one just trying to catch a video of the young labs working then BOOM a new pack member flew through 😂😂

So so lucky to have this ground 10 minutes from my door, lovely morning out counting grouse with the dogs 🐶😊😍

A slightly damp morning training with Sam calvert! But you can't beat having this ground outside your front door.

All came home happy so a celebratory paddle in the beck they never get tired of it 🤣

There's one thing with reyn she loves out of season training. Such a driven dog 😍💪

A nice long memory retrieve this morning for reyn, keep building that confidence! Just started training this bitch around 2 weeks ago and wow she's coming on so naturally 😁👌let's hope she keeps going

Not what you expect this time of the year but I don't think these lot mind.
