Organic labeling doesn't necessarily indicate a higher quality level, but a company without a certified organic label doesn't mean they aren't practicing sustainable farming.
Organic advocates often leave the impression that organic farming eliminates the need for pesticides, however, if that were true, the Organic Materials Review Institute would have no need to list more than 40 pesticides allowed in organic production.
This will come as a surprise to those who buy organic products to avoid harmful pesticides. Itโs true that each one of the 40+ pesticides on the โapprovedโ list is individually reviewed and approved for use, but theyโre still pesticides. Theyโve been designed to do the same thing as all the other pesticides out there and thereโs no guarantee that theyโre any safer. There is also a chemistry definition of organic, which has to do with chemical structure, where a chemical is considered organic if it has at least one carbon atom. Thatโs not the definition we are using today.

Our producer avoids the use of many pesticides and tests them before entering their clean facilities. They also use the herb pulp that is left over after extraction as a fertilizer source for their farms. We would also challenge that these herbs are originally from China which means they are coming from a geo-authentic location that is traced back to the original farm used to source.
