Thank God for some rain this evening because this weekend has been unbelievably hot. The June clinic was an absolute blast and I can’t believe how absolutely everybody dug deep and improved beyond recognition, well done guys and look forward to seeing you in July. We don’t just do poncey dressage on Lee’s yard! We have a great social positive atmosphere, hack horses, back horses, showjump horses and generally have a very relaxed supportive life!

If you want to join us we are reducing the full livery prices to £175 a week.

The horse's neck muscles tell the story!

You can tell a lot about how correct a horse's frame is by evaluating the way he is using his topline muscles. The muscles in the horse's neck really tell the story, with an area of bulging muscle at the top of the neck behind the poll proving the horse is in a false frame, from being pulled together from front to back. The first picture shows the signs of an incorrect frame, while the one below it shows a horse that is using his neck muscles properly.

Ready for his NVQ jumping assessment Richard took the boys showjump training. Majority of Breezer's session was within a Thunder storm (as u can see by the amazing photo!)
Both jumped fab, gaining confidence round a course. Breezer has amazing power (often difficult to sit too!) but needs to learn to travel across a fence where Benson is very natural, great technique & he really loves it & takes u into a fence really well... amazing youngsters!!
