Hi all!!

It has been FOREVER since I’ve updated you all! When you’re living your best life, you sometimes forget about social media, but I could never forget all of you. Sending you so much love from Connecticut.

Camping season is in full swing. And even though I’m a little slower & walks are a little shorter, I’m still loving every minute of it. Mom & Dad take me on lots of shorter walks, but we still visit all my friends. And they fill my belly with the best treats! My good friend Laurel watches me when Mom & Dad are gone. She brings me ice cream & gives the best belly rubs. My friend Joe is still making me meatballs, so really I have no complaints.

Friends, guess who I met last weekend?! That's right, Santa Claus!! I've never met him before, but he's my new friend! Not only did I meet Santa, but I got some amazing treats from my new favorite store, The Dog Bone LLC. Mom is going to take me there very soon to get some more.

I thanked Santa for giving me my very own family & asked for more treats for Christmas. (You can never have too many treats)!

Hi friends!!! It's been brought to my attention that it's been months since I've checked in! I've been having so much fun, I haven't taken the time to update. Thank you to everyone who has reached out asking about me.

I've spent spring & summer at the campground every weekend. We go for lots of walks while I'm there. We also enjoy campfires, TONS of treats and all sorts of love from all my friends. Every night we walk before bed and I make multiple stops for bedtime snacks.

I continue to have mom and dad wrapped around my paws, just how I like it. ♥️😂♥️. The cats and I peacefully coexist most days. My weekly meatball deliveries continue and I'm looking forward to fall in New England. It's my favorite time of the year.

Good morning my friends!!! Guess what today is?! It's my birthday!!! Look at the presents mom & dad bought me!! A box full of treats!! And today is "Meatball Monday!" I can't wait for some warm, tasty meatballs from my friend Joe at Ads Pizzeria tonight! Thank you to all my friends who helped bring me safely to my new life & who contributed to my heartworm treatment. I'm so happy I'm safe, healthy & loved! Cheers to another year! ♥️Chloe

Hi friends. One year ago today, I started my trip north. I never expected to find a family of my own that would love me this much.

We went camping again this weekend. I love campfires - lots of friends and lots of treats. Mom and Dad spoil me so much. This has been my best year ever.

Hi friends!! Just me checking in. I’m still feeling well & mom & dad are still spoiling me. I got a meatball delivery last Monday so that made me happy.

I’ve been camping all weekend & have gone on lots of walks. Everyone at camp always has treats ready for me. Below are pictures of me this weekend before my last walk of the night & me after mom tucked me in for the night.

One year ago, my friends at Yappy Tails Animal Rescue committed to saving me & bringing me to Connecticut. ❤️❤️ What a difference a year makes!! Look at what love can do. Thank you too to River Valley Animal Center for helping me beat heartworm & for taking such good care of me this past year.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who played a part in my rescue, from Alabama to Connecticut. Being a loved dog, with my very own family, is a dream come true.

Hi friends!! Happy Tuesday. I hope you’re all staying well during these scary times. We dogs are loving having our people home so much. I know I do! I get lots of walks, treats, hugs & meatballs. We go camping every weekend. I’m a big fan of that. Mom takes me on lots of walks, I have tons of friends who I’ve trained to have treats waiting for me at their campsite and I love campfires! It’s so nice being loved. ❤️

I have another ear infection, but I’m otherwise healthy and doing well. My good friends at River Valley Animal Center gave me some meds and said I’ll be just fine. I’m looking forward to my first spa appointment and can’t wait to make new friends at Creative Clips Pet Salon!

Morning friends!! Happy 4th of July weekend! Please remember to keep your fur babies safe & inside if they are afraid of fireworks.

I’m camping this weekend. Mom just took this picture of me. I’m up & ready for breakfast. I was hoping for breakfast in bed, but no such luck. 😂

Yesterday we went for lots of walks & enjoyed 3 different campfires last night, all with lots of Chloe treats. I have so many friends who keep treats just for me in their campers, so I love going for walks & visiting. ❤️

Hi friends! Hope you are staying safe & well. I’m loving my life. Saw my good friends at River Valley Animal Center this week. I have an ear infection. But other than that, I’m doing well. I’ve gained 5lbs since finishing my heartworm treatment. It’s the meatballs. 😂

I also learned this week that wild bunnies are our friends, not something to try to snack on. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂♥️. Camp is the best. I’ve made lots of friends & they all stock their campers with Chloe treats. I go on lots of walks & love campfires.

Friends, I have exciting news to share! My adoption is official!! Mom and Dad finalized it tonight. We celebrated with meatballs. 😂. Thank you to my friends at RUFF Rescuers United For Furbabies & especially to my friends at Yappy Tails Animal Rescue for rescuing me, treating all my ailments and finding me my forever family. Thank you too to my friends at River Valley Animal Center for helping me beat heartworm & getting me healthy.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to my vet bills, who came to my fundraisers & who has shown me so much love. I love you all. Stay tuned for updates. I’ve got lots of living left to do!

Happy weekend, friends!! I’m loving the campground. All my new friends here keep their campers stocked with treats for me & always give me some when I visit. I checked out the dock today. Not sure how I feel about it moving while I’m walking on it. But it’s a sunny & beautiful day today & I’m loving that! If it’s nice next weekend, I’m going out on a boat for the first time ever ❤️. I hope y’all are enjoying your long weekend.

Hi friends!! Happy Saturday! I hope you’re all staying safe and well. I’m having a wonderful day with my mom. We drove to the campground. When we got here, we took a nice walk in the woods. We had pizza for lunch, saw some friends and then went on another walk. I loved walking through the stream - it was very refreshing. We are now going to enjoy a campfire.

Hi friends!! Just checking in to say hi! I hope you are staying safe & well. I’ve been keeping busy. We went camping last weekend. I have a great couch in the camper to snooze on; I also enjoyed lots of walks, met new friends & spent lots of time with my mom & dad. On Sunday, my dad & I took my mom to Ads Pizzeria for some yummy food & I gave her lots of extra Chloe love. We saw my friend Joe, who gave me some meatballs & my friend Alyson, who gave me treats.

It’s the best feeling in the world to have a mom to call my very own. I hope all you fur moms had a nice Mother’s Day.

Hi friends!! I hope you’re all staying safe and healthy. Just checking in to say hi!! Today was a beautiful day here in Connecticut. Mom, Dad and I went to pick up some Ads Pizzeria to-go & my friend Joe gave me some meatballs. It has been a great day!! Next weekend we are going camping. I’ll make sure my mom takes pictures. Hi friends. Me checking in! Lots going on out there in the world I hear. Mom & Dad keep using the words “social distancing.”’ Not sure what that all means, but I’m loving life & my people. Mom worked from home yesterday & I enjoyed a great walk because she was home. I hope all of you are staying safe & well.

Today, I went to the campground with my mom & dad. We took a nice walk. Then I went to visit my friend Joe at Ads Pizzeria & got some meatballs to-go & he got lots of Chloe love. The meatballs were delicious. I highly recommend. I also saw my friend Alyson from Yappy Tails Animal Rescue and she shared pizza with me. She said when life gets back to normal, we have lots of adventures to plan. A spa day at Creative Clips Pet Salon, ice cream at Dairy Cream at Bradley International & a road trip for some food called lobster. I’m looking forward to all of that & lots more. I love food & now that those pesky heart worms are gone, I’m gaining some much-needed weight.

Hi friends!!! Just me, checking in. I had a busy weekend. Mom and Dad took me to the campground & I got to go for a walk, take in all the new smells, and meet some new friends. I’ve got two couches to snooze on at camp. I’ve promised my friend Alyson from Yappy Tails Animal Rescue to have an “accident” on the NYY pillow that’s on one of the couches. 🤣🤣.

The past few days have been beautiful here in Connecticut and Mom has taken me for walks. I love getting out & enjoying all the new smells. It makes my heart very happy. Now that I’m HW-, my Yappy Tails friends have promised me a spa day, followed by ice cream. I’m looking forward to that & will make sure they take lots of pictures to share with all of you.

I tried to tell Mom & Dad that I don’t like it when they go out for meatballs & dinner without me, but they weren’t listening. Thankfully, they are home now I’m & ready for bed. Tired myself out voicing my displeasure. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Night all. Sweet dreams.

Hi friends!! I’ve just heard it’s “National Love Your Pet Day,” and I just have to say that being loved is the best feeling ever. My mom & dad spoil me so much & I’m just so happy they chose me. ❤️❤️

It’s a cold morning here in Connecticut- the perfect morning to snuggle with my stuffed bunny. I can’t wait to chase those real ones soon enough. 😂🐾🐾.

I’m feeling great these days and am enjoying more freedom. I looking forward to warmer weather so I can play in my back yard & go for walks. I’m also looking forward to my friends Alyson & Denise taking me to this place called Dairy Cream for some food called ice cream in a couple weeks. They’ve also promised me some summer road trips & food called lobster. ❤️🐾❤️🐾

My Yappy Tails friends are planning a “Gotcha Day” celebration for me when my adoption will be official & there will be meatballs. This makes my heart and my belly happy.

Despite the much colder weather, I just love my new life here in Connecticut. I’ll check in with you all soon. ❤️ Chloe
