Ten tiny lives, so fragile and young,

We are greatful to all the wonderful animal lovers who sent milk powder and other food. We can't thank you enough. You give us the strength to continue. We can't do it without your help, even when it ends in pain and tears, we are forever grateful. 💔🐾❤️

Today we'll start from the end.

Bishop is estimated to be around 18 months old. Weights about 60lbs of goodness and sweetness!!

Sweet as can be, thinks he’s a lap dog. Loves people and all the affection he can get. Loves dogs, good with cats, and l9ve playing with toys. Kind of learning fetch.
Walks well on a leash.
Scared of gunshots (has ptsd I’m sure.)
And he's house trained

The story of Bishop!
Bishop was cleared to have his splint removed and oh boy is he loving life!

He had such an incredible journey to get to this point. He has been cleared by the vet and is more than ready find his forever home. Please give this good boy a second chance at life, and let him know that all people aren't awful like that despicable person that shot him.

As you can see from the new pictures posted, he is happily moving around and using all 4 legs. His injured one may be slightly shorter than the others and he might always have a limp, but that certainly isn't stopping him from living life to the fullest now! You can just tell from his recent pictures that it almost looks like he's smiling. He loves everyone - including other dogs and cats. Please give him his happy ever after!

10/22/24 Update: We would like to thank the Petfinder Foundation for choosing Bishop to receive a $600 emergency health grant. This grant is greatly appreciated as Bishop has been back and forth to the vet multiple times. He currently remains "on hold" until the vet determines that his leg has sufficiently healed. For further information on Bishop's journey, please read his background below.

His Background:

Bishop was shot in the leg. Why? Because he was starving and looking for food in someone's yard. He was roaming the area in Texas for a few weeks, looking for food, and no one had helped him. The wonderful lady who witnessed the person shoot him brought him back to her home. She tried her best to take care of his wound on her own. It appeared to have healed from the outside, but unfortunately, it didn’t heal on the inside, so he couldn't use his leg. It was left dangling and useless.

At this point his finder asked for our help, and we took him in. The vet said his bone was shattered, and he was in a great deal of pain. But the good news was that the vet thought he would have a good chance of healing the injury and walking again, so she splinted his leg. Without waiting long, he stood up and asked to go outside to do his business. We think that's amazing and it tells so much about the boy.

Bishop is currently in Texas but, if adopted, will be transported to NJ on our coming transport.

Six puppies are left, and another one is struggling. Our hearts are shredded. 😭 We can't do anything to help other than what we already did and do by the orders of the vet.

Thank you for all the milk powder you sent and the other food and money to buy more. For now, we don't need anything else but praying for all the puppies to fight and get strong and stay alive 🙏🤞

This second cry for help today.
Mom is a lab she was dumped with her 3 Scruffy puppies.
Scruffy, or wirehaired, usually do better for people with allergies.
They are estimated to be around 5 months old.

For now they've been kept outside and looking safe. But they need to find homes asap, puppies as well as mom
All 4 are super friendly and sweet.

They will come to NJ vaccinated and microchipped.
Mother, if she's old enough, will be spayed.

Update as of 12/25
We decided to give the puppy girl with the White "boots" the name Bootsie 😊. And, Bootsie has a great app for adoption that we are processing. ❤️
Only 3 more apps to save the dogs that left in the shelter. 🙏🙏

Christmas Miracle. Please share

Two years ago, we saved (and cleaned the shelter) 5 beautiful dogs

Last year, we asked to redo what others called CHRISTMAS MAGIC and clean that shelter again.

Now, we want to do it again, and it should be easy because these dogs are so sweet and young and should not be put down.

No names, no beautiful pictures, no info other than they have all been tested with and are very friendly with dogs and humans.
They say the Yellow lab, female, is less than 35lbs, maybe a year old, very friendly and sweet.

The second pup is the Black boy. Only 8 months old, male, very, very sweet. It's very lonely there.

3rd pup with the White boots is a female, and the 4th is her male sibling
They are about 3 months old. They were crying when our partner in Texas took the pictures and left.

They all belonged to the same owner. The owner killed the mother. Father is unknown to us
The puppies have no tail; we suspect it was removed on purpose.

These four dogs lived in hell and now thier future is in danger. But we can do it. We can save them with your help
They will come to NJ on January 18th. They'll be vetted. If you like to adopt please fill out the adoption application

Update 3 on our puppies.

At this time we are asking to keep the puppies in your prayers.
This morning 3rd puppy, surprisingly after showing no signs of stress passed away.
The vet said it could be that they got something from the garbage. Can you imagine that. So now they are all on antibiotics, on anti diarrhea and puppy gas, whatever it is.

Still, 4th girl doesn't look good now. Pray for her and all her siblings.
They need our good vibes.

This beautiful girl is in NJ and needs a home asap.
Ber owner and family love her but health issue the family struggles with left them no choice but to look for a good family for Oreo.

Some people love regular Oreos, and some love the double-stuffed ones…but this particular Oreo is double-stuffed with love!

Oreo is an approximately 2.5-year-old, 50-pound female heeler mix. She is a super sweet girl (of course she is with that name!) who lives like she’s on a sugar high (that’s our way of saying she still has a lot of puppy energy). She loves to play and run - especially with other dogs and kids.

She loves to play!! She walks around the house with a toy in her mouth, kind of growling, "Come get me." If you're not paying attention to her and she wants to play, she will come, drop the toy in your lap, put her nose close, and look at you with her big eyes like it's playtime!

She does great with dogs and kids; however, she’d prefer a home without cats. She also walks pretty well on a leash, is crate-trained, and is housebroken. She listens to commands but is really happiest when she’s cuddling up next to you.

Oreo is an owner surrendered due to her owner's health issues. She’d love to find a new family with whom she can share her loving self, especially before the holidays.

I do hope it is!!!

If it is, I want to ask the animal lovers who spend day and night picking up dumped and hurt animals in Texas, to start fundraising to purchase as many as needed signs.

Let's change Texas!!

Update as of Sunday 22nd

We lost another girl. She was fitting for two days. At one point, we thought she was going to make it. She got extra food to give her the power, but it wasn't enough. She passed away, and our hearts keep crying for these tiny puppies who didn't get a chance from the humans who had them.
We also keep thinking about the poor momma.
Someone, who read their story, named them “trash can puppies". I can't call them that!! Maybe "trash can humans" is more appropriate.

Update 2 on the newborn puppies.
After struggling for half a day, after keeping it warm and giving extra liquids, the runt passed away. 😢😢

We knew it might happen, but it didn't make it easy. The foster mentioned she is pretty sure they didn’t get the mom’s colostrum, which is so important in the first 24-36 hours.

All nine others are doing well. Yes, they are there in the video, believe me 😊

We still need the Esbilac puppy milk in powder form.
They have to eat every two hours. (no sleep for foster mom) They will be on the puppy milk for 4 weeks.

Urgent!!

What do you see in the picture?
We see ten souls, ten newborn puppies, ten little dogs that someone thought were garbage when he dumped them in the trash—ten puppies with the umbilical cord still attached.
They've all been crying when the foster was on the phone with the finder. They are HUNGRY, and no one was willing to help that person.
We said yes, we'll take them in, thanks to a good samaritan who found them. She has to drive over two hours each way to bring them to safety with us.

Sage is a sweet, playful little girl. She’s a bit shy right now, but she’s starting to open up. She loves playing with squeaky toys…and definitely likes her treats (which helps with training).

She and her sibling, Petunia, were dumped in Texas, when they were just a few weeks old. Thankfully, someone saw them and brought them to us.

We estimate Sage to be about three months old, and she weighs 9.7 pounds as of mid-December. We have no idea on her breed since her Mom wasn’t found with her, so we are guessing she and Petunia her sibling, might be black mouth cur mixes.

Sage is being fostered locally.

Update to answer what many are asking

They are safe!!
We wanted to bring them to our area so they could be inside a home until a permanent family found
They are currently being outside because there are so many dogs being fostered and no place for them

His BFF is a Chihuahua mix, as per the vet, about 6 month old and 14.5 lbs.

They are so cute and good together. No fights only love
Playing together and sleeping near each other.
They've been vaccinated today, fully checked and got the ok to come to NJ. Arriving next Saturday the 21st.

They've been found roaming in an area in south Texss for a while, probably dumped there.

They need an adopter or foster or foster to adopt.

This boy is about 4 months old. He was named Pinto by his finder in Texas.
He is a Catahoula mix boy. Very friendly and sweet, about 18lbs

We would love to find him a home.
He will get his 1st vaccine tomorrow and in January he can come to NJ.
