Hello! I’m Emma Atkinson, trainer of Pristine Performance Horse’s. My operations home is “All Season’s Arena” located outside of Medicine Hat, Alberta.

At All Seasons arena I offer: starting, foundation basics for all disciplines, performance horse training specializing reining, cutting and barrel horses as well as one on one lessons for all ages. The focus and priority for my horses and people is to facilitate and develop connection and communication between us and our equine partners. The results are well rounded, confident and engaged horses that love their jobs! These beautiful creatures will perform amazing feats for us when we listen to each as an individual, feel what their bodies are telling us and reward their great efforts!

Congratulations to one of our recipients of the Marlene Waldner Western Youth Bursary, Karley Appell 🎉

Karley's love for horses started at a young age on her grandparents' farm. She fell in love with riding at the age of 6 and was gifted her very own horse, Pistol, in 2018. Karley is in awe at the progress she and Pistol have made in such a short time.

The Marlene Waldner Western Youth Bursary is available to youth members between the ages of 13-17 years old, who are either participating in, wanting to participate in, or already practising safe sport in Western-related equestrian activities.

The bursary is in recognition of Marlene’s work, dedication and accomplishments in the Western equestrian community.

The MedicineHat-Exhibition Stamped has come and gone yet another year. Pepsi took care of me over the course of 3 days and gave me rides of a lifetime. Thank you to Haley Schlenker for giving me the opportunity to use Pepsi. Thank you to the wonderful girls that I got to ride alongside and our two coaches!

“Jack”

This gelding was brought to me as a three year old. We discussed a game plan and went into action. First things first we did a 2 month restart on Jack and then his owner continued to ride him throughout the winter. Jack is now in for another month of training transitioning into a bridle. Spring is in the air and it’s pen cleaning time. Here at “All Seasons Arena” the horses are getting their winter waste cleared. They now can enjoy fresh wood chips with a bed of straw for those chilly nights.

When you do what you love and love what you do! Max has been in training for 23 days and was sent to be started under saddle. I feel so privileged to have families put there pride and joy in my hands as the next chapters for these horses begin.
