Tomatoes- Beefsteak, Earl Girl, Roma, San Marzano, Marmande, ACE 55, Golden Jubilee, Tiny Tim, Yellow Pear, Tomatillo, Rio Grande, Large cherry, San Marzano, Mortgage Lifter and Pink Oxford
Cucumbers- straight 8, English burpless and pickling and yellow
Bell Peppers- Sweet red, Marconi Red sweet, Orange bell, golden Cal, IKO IKO
Pepper- Jalapeno, Sweet banana, Red cherry, Pepperoncini, Anaheim, Habanero
Squash- Zucchini Black Beauty, Butternut and Spaghetti
I am adding some sever new varieties of tomatoes this year to the green house. I have pictures of the new varieties I am adding.

We ended up butchering 8 meet birds. It went a lot better than we thought. We will be butchering 24 more chickens in two weeks. We will have at least 12 for sale. These are GMO and Soy free. Pasture free ranged during the day and fed local farm produced chicken food. We are wanting $15.00 per bird. They will average 5lbs cleaned and ready to go.

I am treating one of my cows for a mastitis. Thank goodness my cows are gentle and I don't need a head catch for them. Stella is such a sweetheart. Three parts to treating. Get all puss and milk out, put antibiotic up the teat and then message the ointment in.

I am getting ready to start getting seeds and will soon be planting veggies. If you have something you want, let me know ahead of time. I will have- Tomatoes: Early girl, Beef steak, Big red,
Cucumbers: Slicer, Burpless and pickling and Straight eight. Peppers; Sweet pepper, Jalapeno, crispy sweet red Hybrid. Zucchini and Squash. Sunflowers and pumpkins.
I can always plant special requests too. 🙂

Homemade beef bone broth , carrots and celery for the dogs. This has to cook for 9 hours. Then I freeze each helping . The dogs love it.

Stella was preg checked this morning and happily three months pregnant. Bella is open probably because of her injury and not settling while she was with the bull. Her drain will stay in for one more week. We Got the Calves vaccinated and all their shots and we are ready for winter.

Bella's wound is healing up well. I still have the drain in it but there is no longer puss coming out. The white is fly repellant. This good looking bull belongs to Glenna Bowen down the street. Since Bella was injured pretty much the whole time while she was out to pasture with a different bull, a long ways from home, she didn't settle. My good buddy Glenna offered up her handsome bull, who was only a block away. I still go down and flush her drain every day. Saturday she goes back to the vet to have the drain removed. :)

Second Chance is putting weight on. It has been a struggle to get the weight on him but with a couple D worming’s and lots of food it’s gradually happening.

We are at 29 days. It looks like we have wiggly eggs and they’re preparing to hatch. Hopefully within the next 2-3 days we will have babies.

This is Lucky, who I thought decided not to lay this year. Guess what I found. She has laid 6 so far and isn't done laying. These babies are going to be so late in the year to hatch.

These are the best tomato cages and cucumber trellises. I took
some used cattle panels we weren't using and made the cages and trellises. These will last forever unlike the flimsy ones you purchase. I can get 3-4 cages/trellis' out of one panel. Which is about $6 to $9 each. New panels run about $26 each.

The goose eggs have been 7 days in the incubator. You can see the embryo and veins.
