Cool your pup off this summer with this fun *make at home* doggie ice cream recipe that is safe & fun for your pet! (just make sure you brush their teeth tonight 😉)
Ingredients
🍌 1 ripe banana
🍦 1 cup plain yogurt (make sure it’s plain and unsweetened)
🥜 1/2 cup peanut butter (ensure it doesn’t contain xylitol)
Optional Add-ins
🍓 Strawberries, blueberries, or other dog-safe fruits
💧 A splash of water or milk (optional, to adjust consistency)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients: 🍌 Peel and slice the banana. 🍓 Wash and prepare any additional fruits.
2. Blend the Ingredients: 🥣 In a blender or food processor, combine the banana, yogurt, and peanut butter. Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little water or milk to reach the desired consistency.
3. Add Fruits: 🍓 If using additional fruits, blend them in or mix them in after blending the base ingredients.
4. Freeze: 🧊 Pour the mixture into silicone molds, ice cube trays, or small paper cups. Freeze for at least 3-4 hours or until completely solid.
5. Serve: 🍨 Pop the ice cream out of the molds and serve to your dog in moderation.
Storage
🧺 Store the ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
Note: Always introduce new foods to your dog gradually to ensure they don’t have any adverse reactions. This ice cream should be an occasional treat, not a regular part of your dog’s diet.

July is filling up !! We are running a special THIS MONTH ONLY! Free ear cleaning with every teeth cleaning. It is important with the summer heat to also keep your dog's ears healthy, we use an antibacterial ear rinse to clean your dog's ears in a safe way.
