A story of fate that unfortunately happens quite often here. On Friday evening we received a call from an alcoholic who wanted to shoot his Staffordshire bitch because she kept running away. She has also bitten passers-by, which is understandable since she was mistreated by her former owner, beaten, had her ears cut off and was constantly pregnant in order to make money from the puppies.🤬 When we got there, we first tried to put the dog, who was called Dura (Russian for fool), into the transport box. At first the owners did not want to hand over the puppies to us, but after a long discussion we were fortunately able to secure them too. Originally there were probably 11 puppies, but 4 died in unknown circumstances.😔 We are already thinking about a new name to round off the new start for the mother. In the meantime, we need to gain trust and show her that there are good people out there too! Her puppies are sweeter than sugar and are raised with love and care so that they do not fulfill the cliché of the aggressive Staffordshire and can integrate into any family!❤️ In order to secure the future of the puppies and many other dogs, we depend on donations, the links can be found in our bio, thank you in advance!🐾❤️
Dear everyone 💙💛
We are raising money to renew the kennels in our animal shelter in Ukraine, and would love your support!
Our current kennels are broken and in need of replacement. The floors are worn down, making them difficult to clean. The structure of the kennels has also seen better days.
We would like to do a full replacement to make sure our dogs stay happy and safe! 🐕🐾
Please help if you can! Every donation makes a difference.

A little behind the scenes footage as we are still building the huts so kindly donated by all of you amazing people! 🎥 Today marks exactly 1 week until our trip to East Ukraine starts! 💪🏻🇺🇦
We still need more support, and invite you all to join us remotely, as we soon will start our journey to distribute the winter huts we were able to build thanks to all of you!
Now, you can help us do even more. For just €15, you can place your own bag of food in our van, which will feed stray dogs! 🐕🐕🐕

A rescue gone right.
I’m sure many of our supporters know Snowflake aka Bilka well.
We’ve rescued her a few weeks ago from Kyiv after she was badly abused by her owner.
To our surprise, Snowflake was part of a bigger package. She came with two of her puppies which we named in in line with the mums, winter themed name; Snowy and Cloudy. We couldn’t leave the puppies behind therefore - the whole family came to live with us here at our shelter in Yavoriv.
Over time Snowflake has transformed into a confident, friendly and boucy girl. The cherry on cake for Snow was that.. she’s been adopted by the same wonderful lady who alerted us of her plea.
Snowflake is leaving for her forever home this week. We will greatly miss her incredible dance moves and a cheeky, inquisitive personality.
Let’s all wish Snowflake the best of luck on her journey.
