Naaawwww so this is one of our foster fails 😻. Fiona has spent a lot of time with Craig before he went to his furever home.... I have to say, having a rescue baby & then bringing more fosters into the home, she has adapted so well & often takes on the role of teaching our fosters how to be kittens or cats 🥰.
We have a new addition to our foster family now...: please meet Lucy Liu.... approximately 5 months old & a total smoocher.... she is simply adorable 🥰
Once we have her vet work complete, we will pop her up for adoption 😻
An appreciation post for susan 🥰. She has to race to the food bowl so she can get her portions in as quick as Craig can. She gets a bit out of sorts also when Craig has got into mischief & ends up back at the vet 🤦🏽♀️ they really do adore each other so much & I am so so sooooooo glad they were rehomed together 🥰

And he is finally out of his surgery & recovering back home 🥰. He not only managed to consume the nerf bullets, but part of his mummies thongs 🤦🏽♀️. The people at the vet have fallen in love with him & course he was a purring machine when he got home. Hopefully this will be the end of the dramas on Craig’s journey 😩😁🤣🤦🏽♀️💪

Now an update on our main man Craig.. he is still kicking goals in his new home & I have been told how much he loves his food 🥰. He has recovered so well from his double leg surgery & well we still can’t thank you enough for helping us make this happen so he too, can continue to live out his best life.... from dumpster to a nice new home full of love & food 🥰

🐱 Adult cat $25: Give a second chance to an adult cat who has been constantly overlooked in favour of kittens. Around 64% of felines in our care are adults. At this time of year, adult cats typically spend well over a month waiting to find a home, so they need your help the most.
🐱🐱 Pair of kittens $235: Help keep bonded kittens together so they have a friend for life.
Single kittens will be available to adopt for the usual fee of $235.

During Clear the Cat Shelter, our thorough adoption process still applies to ensure all pets are matched with committed families who are able to offer a suitable home and lifetime of care.

About one week post op on second leg 😳😳 look at our boy go. I actually can’t believe how well he is recovering. 🥰🥰
Don’t forget to pray for Craig’s nuts because if they don’t drop in about 8 weeks he will have to have a third lot of surgery going through his abdomen 😬
Yesterday Craig had surgery on his second leg.... he came home today & he is purring away like a champion..... I am not sure if you know but he hasn’t been desexed yet because we have been waiting anxiously for his testicle to drop.... but if it doesn’t within the next 8 weeks, unfortunately another lot of surgery for our darling boy. Another surgery going through the abdomen to desex him.... then hopefully he can get on with his life in his loving family 🥰. Susan wants her buddy back. Thank you again for making this possible for our little legend x

A little update on Craig :)
He is doing so well that he will possibly be having his surgery on his right leg as early as tomorrow 🥰🥰🥰
But here is where it gets really awesome...... thank you to all of you for your donations & sharing these posts because we have been able to raise enough money through the rescue to cover the cost of the surgery tomorrow. So thank you from all of us at 2nd Chance Cat Rescue & of course Craig's family who are incredibly grateful & overwhelmed by all of your help.

I am doing really well with my recovery so far & I go back to see Dr Arthur next week to have my staples removed & then we can start the thinking about my next leg.
