In about 2 minutes, I turn to walk her by the lake. Lakes are pretty new for her and I want her to swim this summer 😁 Suddenly, she sank to her girth in mud. Scary. It took two steps. IShe took a half second to process and got us out of there with some super strong heaves. After she got free, she wanted to run away. She worked through that too. Could not be more in love or happier about the brilliant mind on my horse. She is amazing. We finished the ride with 4 more miles of happy trots and canters and stretchy walks in the sun.
